  1. I'm not sure I just looked it up on ebay I can ask him he lives next door but be later tonight. You could buy it from there they will post to the UK if you really wanted that one, or have a look again on ebay see if there is a UK company that sell's it I just used the 1st one I see to give you an idea :D
  2. Gambit

    dash cams

I'v thought about getting one myself or getting a webcam rigged up to the PC and some recording software. Only ones I'd looked at was the 1080p HD cams that bikers used as I thought I could put it on the bonnet scoop or any where on the car and move it around, other then that I didn't look to much into them.
  3. Ok will move this on I know I'm right ;)
  4. I will admit it I'm not sure myself mate. With not having a legacy hopefully one of the other members will be able to let you know.
  5. Rothenberg is the best by far but as you said you will pay for it. Not sure about the £20 mark I can't see any of them being upto much. B&Q might do one around that price. And as for the gas I only ever use butane or propane. Depends on what size pipe I use but propane is the one I use more.
  6. Jackie brown I knew I'd seen it ;)
  7. Hello mate welcome to S.O.C Seems like a good price. I know you can fit newage ones to classic shapes with a bit of work depends how good you are with some spanners or how much you want to do messing about. has your's got the angle inter cooler or flat/straight ?
  8. Fantastic mate that will be great look forward to seeing them. And atleast you didn't have to show those other car's up ;) And happy to hear it was a good day for you makes it worth the trip. I will watch the show I just have to make sure I put it some where to remind myself :D Cheered me up that so much Iv'e even just woke my missus to tell her. All I got was "Ohhh.... Good"
  9. Seen it about few times think you work at the scrap metal place near Blockbusters
  10. Sounds good to me I think I would sell up and re do the STI just so you can do more but that's me spending your money :D
  11. Anyone here 1st time I've seen you today near the Rose n Crown pub :)
  12. Please join me in welcoming our 1st 3 Regional Coordinators. I just wanted to take this opportunity from all us here at S.O.C to congratulate them and helping the club move forward. cusco scooby wagon Ash007ks Scooby Pete Welcome to the team! I know it might be a bit of a slow start but hopefully we're heading in the right direction to getting some local meets organised, and to meet some of the great members we have here in our areas. And not to forget some nice pictures to show off :D If you want to have an event/meet advertised on our Facebook this can be arranged. So without further ado we wish you the best of luck with future event's. And thank you.
  13. If you get good vinyl it should be easy to fit and lasts ages. I was talking to a bloke that does them for a living and window tints. He said the really cheap stuff will always after time try to go straight again, and then peels up and will let crap in behind them.
  14. That one can be used on the outside or inside. :D Friend of mine managed to seal a hole in the bottom of a mini he has with it and never leaked since so should be fine. And if you have to take it out I agree you might as well renew it a lot of work not to I wasn't sure where about's the leak is, but if you can't find another tank this should still do the job :)
  15. Hi Josh welcome to the forums It might just need an oil change of the gearbox if it's not been serviced for awhile hole car might need a good service. But what happens over time the gears box oil gets bit's of crap and metal in there could be that or the worse case synchromesh. Then it's cheaper to get a 2nd hand refurbished gearbox fitted. Unless you are good with car's. :) But I would take the risk myself 1st is a strange gear to go before one of the others.
  16. Very nice I would say with what you did to her have the STI. But then I would want to have some time to enjoy the mods you have done :D what year STI would you go for we did have a really nice one in the sale's section a few months ago.
  17. It could be a muffler but I'm not sure I have seen other car's with 2 parts on them like that. But don't know enough about them everyone I've paid for to be fitted or had fixed :)
  18. Hi welcome to S.O.C Sounds like you have a big job on there I'm afraid :( Relieve the fuel system pressure. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the rear exhaust pipe and muffler assembly, remove the rear differential assembly and the rear crossmember. Remove the fuel filler cap and drain the fuel into a suitable container. Remove the fuel filler pipe protector. Raise and support the vehicle safely on jackstands. Remove the fuel filler, air vent and delivery hoses disconnect the air breather hoses and evaporation hose from the pipes. Support the fuel tank with a floor jack or equivalent lifting device. Loosen the attaching bolts and lower the fuel tank slightly. Disconnect the fuel pump harness and should be able to remove the tank from there on. Basically everything from under the back end of the car has to be removed. As for buying one there is a list of breakers you could try http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/593-subaru-breakers-for-parts/ I'm not sure how well this stuff works or if you can get to the leak to try it, but has to be worth a look :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/J-B-WELD-8277-Water-Weld-Epoxy-Putty-2-oz-UNDERWATER-NEW-/330769453745?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item4d036552b1 This is from America. Might be able to get it in the UK some where. I've also had a look see if I had any workshop manuals only one I have is for the 2001 to 2004 :(
  19. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And I love the list of car's you have had. And the one in the picture I take it is the one you have now. Looks great too :D
  20. Looks very clean just like your Scoob so I shouldn't be surprised :) never been a fan of the Vectra. But I am maybe basing that on the later big square shape one they did and it was a diesel turbo that was chipped.
  21. the Abs should go to a sensor on the hub if you can see it. So might be right with both. Without having a look myself I can't say for sure :) I will have a dig around too. I think with the after market parts like you are finding out unless someone has used them it's hard to get solid info :(
  22. It's like having s*x with a condom on and rubber gloves ;)
  23. Fantastic review mate what I like to hear 43.5 MPG I've never had that :D So oval it is then have to get some pictures of before and after ;)
