I use 10/40 fully synthetic named brand all year round some people use other types for winter and summer, and everyone has there own choice but it's around the 5/30 to 10/50 mark I see most people use but I think about the age of cars to :) But as Pete said Tim/Oilman he's on the forums will give you some great advise. Only thing I would add is don't use Semi synthetic and check the oil midway before the next change is due I always find I have to give it a top up of oil before I'm due a change oil and filter again. As for the shocks there is a list of breakers on the forum you could try or ebay for being cheapest places :) But both a bit of a gamble :(

If the car they are from had 4 pot calipers breaks then I would say yes you will be fine. I think what I would do though is if he's local to you just message him and see if its ok to pop down and whip one of your's off the front and try one on. I did the same to a guy who came over from Hull and bought my 2nd pair.

So works out about the same really part from it's 3 days once the place have the alloys so for here. So worth trying the mobile alloy guy then :) To be fair I didn't think about the mobile units so Kudos to you Pete ;)

If you get chance post some pictures of the air intake will help best we can with that. And same with the side skirts. But with the side skirts I take it you have just bought them don't underestimate of tiger seal :)

But I will leave it to them as I'm sure everyone will give you there idea on whats best to spend your money on :)

I agree I would say you will get a misfire code in one of four cylinders maybe all four. I can't remember what the code is off the top of my head but we can soon find out what the code means for you :)

Don't forget you will get some gains by stripping weight too cheapest place to start :)

Pete have you had it done by a mobile guy I just want to know does it cost a lot more to do it that way ? I know Clinton is willing to pay to borrow some alloy's but just wanted to know what the cost would be. For me it was £40 for the tyres to be taken off £120 for all four alloys to be tarted up. I've never really looked into mobile guys. But I guess if they was going for carbon dipping wouldn't be any good.

But on the other hand if it stops you getting wet seats you might be right and better leaving them ;) And with the K&N filter if you mean the MAFS yes that has to stay. When getting the cone it should come with a bit of pipe to attach it too.
