Wading depth
I was close enough :) I did read one guy said he got through water just below his head light's with no problem but wouldn't want to risk trying anymore. I remember I tried once in a Ford Cortina Estate was about a foot deep it didn't end well :( wet feet and a stuck car :)

Removing the Subaru & WRX badges
the Sticky stuff remover worked best for me by far followed by the WD40 (magic stuff) then the petrol on a rag but took longer as it made the glue go like wall paper paste so took longer cleaning off

New Scooby Doo owner :-)
What can I say in my defence. Begged by friends to say bye before I left and being so ***** sure I was Iron man I couldn't be hurt....Yes I felt confidant ;) It was bound to happen :) And I agree I wouldn't ride now without the right gear on, I still see fool's on CBR's and R1's hmmmmm R1 ;) wearing noting more then a helmet and t-shirt with jeans. I would hate to think what the big grey flesh grater would do if they came off with them clothes on :( And funny enough I have of late been bad for the seat belt too driving off while putting it on I said about that to the Missus I should stop it :) Anyway back to what's fun I love summer never want it to end. But the snow in the scoob it's ace. That's all I have to say :D

No problem yep MAFS would most certainley be my next stop then and would almost put mylife on it being the problem with everything else changed. Does it almost stall when slowing down towards round about's or traffic lights ? that will be MAFS issue. But just because there is no cracks or any sign from the coil pack doesn't mean it's not a problem I know from experience. But I did get a miss fire code from the cylinder but no EML came on

I believe you can swap the engines to be turbo'ed but would cost a lot :( But you would have one hell of an Outback that would make the beemer feel like a bad dream. But I'm guessing you are not wanting to do that :) I would say there is very few things you can do really to gain a lot of HP out if it without spending lot's. Jay did post up something that is worth a look for all non turbo Subaru cars. Don't get me wrong the Outback will still be better for the roads you are driving down more then the beemer. But I think the Forester would have been better for the same type of car but with bigger HP. Anyway will look for the link Jay posted and link you to it Here you go mate down near the bottom. I know it's not the same engine but worth a look http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/1813-sports-injectors/

Removing the Subaru & WRX badges
I've removed them before on 2 of my old cars but the badges was smaller the the big SUBARU across the boot :D But think I will do it sooner or latter I will sit and think about it for a few weeks then just think right that's it there coming off and just go and do it :D

Shhhhhh I'm trying to wing it ;) He said at low speed so I'm guessing the sparks not working right making it not burn all the fuel to make it stutter I could be wrong like most things it's guess work :D

Rollamite's 96 Impreza Sport Project
Hello mate was wondering if you had given up been awhile ;) I made some MDF rings to pack mine out so I could fit them without the window catching the speakers only way I know how to get around it. And for the work you have had done that was a good price bearing on it's own cost's me £130 And yep that hole need's sorting out been eating away for awhile that :)

Maybe Fuel filter need's a change. But my guess will be either spark plugs are going bad or coil packs.

Show us pics of your Subaru Outback
Looks very nice. I'm still not a fan of the grills but do like the rest of the car :)

My Impreza 2.0R Sport - New job, new pics of car, may be selling :(
Nice for that price I would think nothing to lose ;) And shocked about the exhaust not being a little deeper I thought it would give a better tune out with it being a Prodrive. But if you are happy with it that's what counts. And aslong as it has the Burble ;)

New Outback owner in Gloucestersire
Hi Dave welcome to S.O.C And I have to agree with you on the being thin on the ground in the UK we don't see many on here which is a shame as the're a fantastic car from the few reports we do get. As for step down I guess that depends on how you look at it, it's more suited I would say for the roads you live on ;) And will be a god send in winter for sure :D with the mods are you after engine mods or look's. :D

parking light
So glad I didn't offer to try fit it now while you was here ;) But fingers crossed goes well after that :)

sports injectors
upgrade I guess would be these. DeatschWerks 440cc injectors http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=DeatschWerks+440cc+injectors+subaru&_osacat=0&_from=R40&LH_PrefLoc=2&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.XDeatschWerks+440cc+injectors&_nkw=DeatschWerks+440cc+injectors&_sacat=0 As for what is in them already I would say the same as a WRX but that would only be a guess :( sorry
