  1. I was told you have to be carful when using one as you can soon take the paint off. That was enough for me to get my !Removed! glans dancing..
  2. Looking good mate. And I'm liking the S.O.C club stickers :)
  3. Only car I took my speedo out in was the ST170 to put some plasma dials in worst thing I ever did in my life :) like you cuts and scratches all over got them fitted it had its own dimmer so I moved that through the dash and it snapped off £50 wasted :( and god knows how many hours messing about. ;) followed by lots of colourful words.
  4. Found this not sure if it will help "No need to unplug the cluster just remove the top 2 screws from the cluster surround and unclip from bottom and remove. 4 screws hold the cluster in place. Once removed tip the cluster forward and pull towards you" I was beaten to it :D
  5. Just given mine a quick wash it did need it though ;)
  6. I wish I hadn't looked at the detailing looks great :) And as for the list I will worry when I need a 1TB Hard drive to store it :) but right with you on the what to do 1st :)
  7. It is unless you want to push the 400BHP I believe. I'm only at 300 with mine and have a cone but I like the sound with it on :) and it's been remapped to have it :)
  8. Sorry mate best way is to upload it on youtube then just copy the link here. The file size might exceed the limit its not very big for videos at all, hence the reason why it's not loading. apologies for any inconvenience :(
  9. Haha ok I guess that will explain the nice rounded dint :)
  10. So what did you hit a lamppost ? And don't blame you didn't look that bad to be fair :)
  11. And don't forget to update some pictures when she is back on the road :D We at S.O.C like pictures ;)
  12. Shopping list will be starting another sheet of A4 soon Jay :D
  13. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And as Jay has said I would only look at it if you have made some other engine mods to the car :)
  14. Hi Jamie welcome to S.O.C I don't have a Forester myself but if I get chance I will have a look see what I can find out for you. But hopefully someone will be able to help you before :)
  15. Hi mate welcome. I can't see there being any problem you have both engines there if anything is needed off one that will fit the other, but I guess you never know with some jobs until you start. Had that many times myself in the past :) And the ECU should still remember the mapping if that's what you mean I think after a set time it removes the codes if it had any I believe but don't hold me to that :)
  16. Fantastic news mate I hate it when I hear a scoob being poorly. It's like when one of my own kids is sick ;)
  17. Is it when your driving over a bump it does it ? But I would start at the stereo and work my way back does sound like a lose wire. I have well I guess I can call it after market set up. so can't help much.
  18. Hi and Welcome mate For a misfire can be a few thing's. But I would risk it might be a dirty spark plug to sensors or a bad coil pack. But with that mileage and PPP and if the price is right I wouldn't worry about it as long as it's the car you want :)
  19. I think it was worth crashing for the rebuild :) both look nice mate
  20. I know what you mean I have looked at mine you can see it move about a lot. But not as much as that guys car was :D But I might look at getting a set even if its for looks but the real ones ;)
