Right my engine bay is filthy, Its starting to look better with its nice cusco braces and some blingy covers but the dirt is letting it down, I dont wanna go mad and have it super clean just "Clean" then i can black hammerite over the rusty bits lol SO best way? Before when i had vauxhall V6s they were easy as you had big engine in a clear space so lots of gunk and elbow grease, a wipe down and it was done my solution - cover the battery and coil pack up - can of gunk over the engine bay and leave 10-15 mins - Steam cleaner go over to remove gunk - wipe down with rag What you think?

    Passed MOT, ECU had so many error codes but my mate had a spare one luckily that matched! Plugged it in, changed plugs and leads, oil and its fine!! I havent really seen it much but was about to advertise it on ebay etc when sunday i was in the pub (different pub than before) and one the young farmers was after a fastish 4x4 to just pop around town in and work..... Crossed my palm with 850 notes...... Its sold!! he will well chuffed with it! i put a SOC sticker i had spare on the back lol left a few standard bits from my blue one he loves it !! So much he is having it remapped !

  11. Good choice , tho Saab turbos are good cars too I had a aero 9-3 hot , my mates took the **** as I was 24 but it was fecking fast and sounded good !! Hawkeyes , well your looking at the 2.5 lump , some horror stories about but most my research found that good looked after examples were trouble free but ..... If you can find one with a forged rebuild buy it !!

  15. narr the vxr is alot heavier than a classic! my mrs has the sporthatch 1.6 and thats heavy!! , On my prodrive ECU (250hp ish) i could keep up with a highly tuned VXR Be good see what figures you get on the good ole top mount and VF35 mate, Im going 35 + meth ! Looking at a 1.4bar map max. and hitting mid 300s which my first scoob was and was a handfull brakes i always recommend a godspeed set up, They are fantastic with braided lines and a stopper installed!
