No problem, Ive just ordered a head gasket kit that was over 100 quid! then its a pig of a job

If its overheated really badly mate prob damaged the head and needs skimming, then by the time you start messing about with replacement gaskets etc it can get expensive, 2nd opinion?

did it overheat badly? some mechanics don't like working on Subaru so to cover themselves they just say is knackered (had it tried on me few years ago!) Not being funny but whats a 97 legacy worth? Is it worth chucking 2k on?

decided against the RA style roof flap, Thats been sold on now (people were begging for it ! ) BUT decided to change my crappy rear bumper so got a new one coming, just need to change the hockey sticks over as mine are colour coded, Then i got a bad knock on the rear arch (no rot thankfully!) but to pull it out is a big job Was looking on the facebook pages a set of the WR1 style arches popped up for 60 quid, PM'd him got them at a bargain as he had them wrapped up ready to go and was let down WOndering wether to go body colour or carbon fibre, Im looking for some canards aswell for the front bumper

Have you got the studs and clips in the spoiler ? Might be a gl tailgate ? Could take inner panel off and have a look inside

Easier get a new tailgate then mate, I can photo the underside my old spoiler so you can see how many holes there are

Yeah you won't have many issues and upgrades are reasonable

Sounds like a 6 paddle ! Yep a pig of a thing for day to day but great on track I had one on my saloon years ago
