Yeah he was really happy just took forever to get the car ! And when it arrived it needed to be tested / serviced etc

how much you think a V4 type R rolling shell is worth. Basically guy has taken his engine out, Left the gearbox in Sold interior (including steering wheel and carpet) Sold wheels Sold coilovers Sold lower arms sold bonnet Sold bumper and grill exhaust etc gone, rear lights , and bootlid is damaged pretty much anything higher value has gone has some rot on rear arches and shell has about 120k on the clock a mix of Km's and Miles im awaiting pictures but he said i can take some wheels and he will bolt on some standard uk spec suspension he has and lower arms so it will roll (and a steering wheel!)

yeah they can go if abused / neglected! Pretty much best way to tell is drop some oil out and look in the oil but you cant normally do that SO start it up from dead cold, then rev it gently upto about 1200-1400RPM and let it return to idle and listen for any Dull - loud knocks or tapping Tapping isnt too bad, some cold start knocking is pretty normal on a older engine but should go within a minute really

lol, ive had a few that will scare most scoobs! my mates got a vectra vxr running near 400 bhp tho its !Removed! wheel drive, you can get the saab aero X which is 4wd and same layout another mate had a 350bhp zaf gsi but just killed the engine so is doing a 2.8T conversion on it

gets expensive tho!! found a few good blob wrx wagons which are a good starting point tho i might sell my wagon, mrs car and get a fast vauxhall again then build a type R/P1
