  1. Didn't do anything with scoob today, but been delving into Youtube and got an couple of new things for my "WANT IT!" list And before you all say it, I know they're not scoobs. . . . but just look they're soooo cool Have actually seen the Audi race, used to run at Curborough and Shelsley Walsh Hill climbs, phenomenal car apparently 1000bhp twin turbo 5 cylinder audi works engine, Tom Hammonds Pikes Peak car.
  2. Can't see mine as I'm back in !Removed! London again on the dreaded public transport. I hate public transport, it's full of . . . Public eeugh [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I actually don't like the mesh grille, I think it looks better with the Subaru bar and badge. I did think about the side window deflectors. But my wife said I should grow up else I'm going to be driving a car that looks like I've covered it in superglue and ram raided Halfords Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Took mine to North Wales and drove it through mud and on a rocky beach. Looks like I'll be giving her a clean tomorrow now, and a Hoover to get the sand out of the foot wells [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Or the wrong bird? [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Clay bars really make a difference of you've picked up some road bits along your way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks, I am pretty pleased with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Never liked wheeler dealers, the mechanic is a bit of a bod get. I've seen him do a few things that I've thought were a bit off. But fast and load is just funny and has proper cool cars on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Like a Subaru? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You'll have to put a vid up as I might one day upgrade from my cheap cam to a GoPro. Would be interested to see the quality Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I doubt you're in the group of people to which I refer. There are much better cars out there than the boxter for that kind of money. Personally I wouldn't have a Porsche. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I bet its boxter, the poor mans Porsche. That's the one all the midlife crisis blokes turn too. You know, roof down, Bald spot glistening in the sun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'll race him and I've only got 150bhp. I'll race him up a grassy hill
  14. Didn't touch mine today, it just sat on the drive in the sun looking all shiny. Off to North Wales tomorrow, with the sun should be a nice drive
  15. I bet the chicks are eggstatic when they see it. I know, I'll go get my coat, sorry
  16. If you can't get at Halfords, main dealers are always able to get touch up kits in all the colours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Can't answer that not having an Impreza and certainly not an STi. You can work around it by getting a pencil with a rubber on, must be a new one. Use a hole punch on some fine grit cloth and superglue it to the rubber, makes for a handy little sander that you can use in tight places. Also good for stone chips Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. If it's gone through the colour then you'll need to build it up and use 2 or 3000 grit paper to blend then use a clear coat to completely fill the scratch. If it's just the lacquer that's easier. Plenty of info on YouTube. Coloured scratch paste works quite well on light scratches. I've used Halfords paint pens before they're pretty good, get one with the needle as it's easier to place the paint precisely. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Washed, waxed, cleaned windows, interior. Cleaned and waxed wheels. Tyre gelled the tyres. All on 2 XV's, wife's dark grey one took the most time as you have to be perfect, you can be a little less careful with a white one. All this followed by a stiff back and achy arms. Off for a couple of beers (or 6) now as just found a load of Becks Vier cans in the fridge. Mmmmmmmm beer
  20. No idea what you're on about. Or maybe I snuck back into my post and corrected my predictive text anomaly
  21. I sat in my diesel yesterday at a set of lights which went from Two lanes to one. A Citroen Saxo pulled up with 3 lads revving the engine. I assumed they were going to try to beat me across the lights. Unfortunately they forgot the golden rule; subaru don't make many slow cars, even the diesel ones. I just pulled away whilst he sat there spinning and left him standing. He tried at 2 more sets of lights and after that just stayed behind me about 50yds back. Not sure why kids think because they've stuck on everything they can find in Halfords they think the car will be fast. And where the hell do they learn this idea that wheelspin is cool and makes you go faster. Unfortunately for them they made a huge deal about the fact they were going to blow me at the lights. You should never count you chickens too early Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. If he's not looking at you then you're not there. His problem solved
  23. Oh that's a shame on a nice afternoon, having to go for a drive, bet you're gutted
