  1. loving the thought of 'boot full' - I'm thinking that will happen on the test drive tomorrow. I plan on asking to be directed to a roads, b roads and dual carriageways to sample all of the joys ;)

  7. Has anyone any advice for things to look for on a 55 plate 3.0r auto to add to the above please? I've already established it has a full main dealer history with low mileage. 11. They give a nice, clean white light and compliment the nightbreakers really well. Yes, I had to remove the grill and headlamp units to change mine - a bit fiddly and you dice with death a bit (just ask Stanton) with the plastic clips, but worth the difference they made :)
  12. I'm the same as Tom too....made a big difference to my Foz, both during the day when I run with sidelights on and at night (sides are osram cool blue as above, mains are night breaker unlimited) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That's very kind of you, but the car I'm going to look at is a 2005 model so will be the same spec as yours. Might help you to sell it to others though[emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Is this by any chance for the Outback? If so, and if it fits a 55-plate, I may be interested after Tuesday ;) Is there a part number stamped on it anywhere? EDIT: I guess not, looking at your profile
  15. Thanks Mr B - going to test drive a 3.0r auto on Tuesday :D

  19. Today thus far I'm looking at some lovely 3.0 auto Outback's for sale
  20. I suspect it may be chain driven, but would be good if an owner could confirm this :)
  21. As it says on the tin please folks - is the 2003-2008 Outback 3 litre auto belt or chain driven? Thanks ever so :)
