  1. Give me a few months fella......need a rest! :P Thanks for the compliment :)
  2. I wouldn't know mate.....[emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As well as the clay, I used meguiars ultimate compound to remove a fair few imperfections in the paint, including these finger print stains... Before.... And after Before.... And after Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. In 2005: £12,250 for a manual 2.5-litre S on a 2005 05 plate, with the automatic model tacking another £500 onto that sum. Opt for the better equipped SE and you'll need to cough up around £13,200 for a manual and around £14,200 for an automatic, again on the 05 plate. The range-topping models are the Outback 3.0R, which opens at around £16,200 for an 05 plater and the Rn which costs around £17,000.
  5. 9 hours of washing, claying, polishing and waxing later......... ......and sleeping beauty has been awoken
  6. If anyone needed convincing about claying, take a look at what has just come off the first square foot of my new outbacks bonnet... [emoji33] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Cheers Alan....are they the primacy 3's? Michelins are generally rated among the best tyres so do let me know how they perform as time goes on
  8. I thought I'd start collecting opinions from you all on the tyres you are currently running and how happy you are with them in terms of grip, wear rate, noise and efficiency. I don't think I'll be ready for new one's for at least 12 months, but these look like a leading contender based on my research so far: http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&cart_id=29745645.110.19739&Breite=215&Quer=55&Felge=17&Speed=V&Load=94&kategorie=&ranzahl=4&tyre_for=&x_tyre_for=&Ang_pro_Seite=50&weiter=50&sort_by=preis&rsmFahrzeugart=ALL&search_tool=vnpsearch&Label=C-B-70-2&details=Ordern&typ=R-228023 Look decent at £87 a corner, fitted. I know other owners on this forum are or have been very happy with Falken's before. Anyway, what are you all running and hiw happy are you with them? Cheers folks

  15. Normal service resumed..... [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hammered the halfrauds 3 for 2....now have clay kits to last the next 3 years [emoji106][emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I've always used the meguairs clay, but saw the bilt hamber needs water only....not sure if they stock it though? No patience to order online haha the thought of days wasted waiting doesn't appeal! [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Haha much as I'd like to, today is my dogs 1st birthday, so it's all about him today. Taking him to Beamish open air museum then some sausages and burgers on the BBQ. Need a new clay kit too, as used last of old one on the Foz before NBO....now is there a halfrauds I can detour too I wonder...... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Cheers mate [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Is this where the dials flick round to max on start up?.....loving that!! [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks Mr B....a great help as always [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. They are showing some signs of paint peel, but nothing major yet and no kerbing of any significance [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Well, SWMBO has kindly washed down the drivers seat and brought a lot of the grime out for me tonight, bless her. Ran my hand over the paintwork....oh my god, some serious claying required....just my kinda job [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah, it's got the door sill protectors all round, but not the rear bumper. Can confirm exhaust is all mild steel, other than SS tips coming from back box....I'm thinking an appt to discuss could be on the cards [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. 3 practicalities are first up: 1. Official dog guard 2. Official rear bumper protector 3. Official mudflaps all round After that, and funds permitting, I want a Bluetooth/Nav combo unit where I just have a cubby hole at the top of the dash at present. Need to check condition of exhaust and composition too (SS or not). Just a few things to keep me working hard 9-5! [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
