Thanks for the feedback mate. I asked about them as they are better rated than most for wet grip (B) and noise is lower too at 69db.

Funnily enough, Falkens are rated poorly for wet grip, despite the experiences of members on here.....all very confusing!

Lugged 49 deckboards from B+Q, then washed, dried and applied Meguiars next gen detailing spray  :D

Another cheaper option that seems well rated

The bay horse country inn at thirsk is only 5 miles away, well rated, and b+b is £60 for the sat night if that's any good.

Found myself parked next to a graphic-upd impreza at tesco today....gave him the thumbs up and nice car :)

Today I've purchased some things to spruce up my baby ready for NBO 12, namely:

Genuine Subaru Resin Rear Bumper Protector

Loctite rust remedy (to treat my rear wiper arm)

Cans of primer and satin black spray paint (for use after afore mentioned rust treatment)

Osram cool blue intense sidelight bulbs to upgrade (in line with headlight bulb upgrade already done)

Dodo Juice light fantastic wax (panel pot size to try)

Tomorrow I'm going to order some touch up paint from the local dealership and order some Bosch Aerotwin front Wiper Blades

I do love a bit of goodie shopping for the motor  :D
