Do these things fit auto turbo's - say for example a WRX Sti A-line? ;)

As above - DPF's are a well known issue in all diesel cars nowadays - either change your driving style or change the car I'd suggest. It's not a 'fault' as such unfortunately. I had a diesel a few years ago and 2-5 minutes of driving in 2nd gear at 40mph used to reset it

Been reading up on this tonight. From 2017 the annual car tax rate for new cars priced under £40k will be £140, regardless of emissions. The first years tax may clobber you, but the clever motorist will buy pre-reg or ex demo? In effect, a 2017 wrx sti will be £140 a year to tax. Happy days set to return..... Pleased to hear you are happy with it. Ideally I'd like one that has already landed in the UK or will be on its way at the time. Options under consideration are: Foz sti Foz cross sports auto Impreza wrx auto saloon or wagon Currently have an auto and love it, so that is influencing me heavily, although if the sti was auto it'd be a no brainier.
