Will the 2017 car tax changes see the return of big dirty engined scoobs to the UK?
Been reading up on this tonight. From 2017 the annual car tax rate for new cars priced under £40k will be £140, regardless of emissions. The first years tax may clobber you, but the clever motorist will buy pre-reg or ex demo? In effect, a 2017 wrx sti will be £140 a year to tax. Happy days set to return..... Forester STi (2004) quick questions
Pleased to hear you are happy with it. Ideally I'd like one that has already landed in the UK or will be on its way at the time. Options under consideration are: Foz sti Foz cross sports auto Impreza wrx auto saloon or wagon Currently have an auto and love it, so that is influencing me heavily, although if the sti was auto it'd be a no brainier. I know the stb Foz sti was auto, but don't want to be going that old. Anyway, at least 4, probably 5 years to wait yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Forester 2.5 XTEN question
was going to say the same - wouldn't want to pay more than 4k for a 55-er and it would need to be a good-un with FSH, belts recently changed etc

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Bought an extra 15m of garden hose, along with an adaptor to connect to my current wall mounted hose. Finally I'll be able to enjoy the full benefit of my large drive by not having to shuffle the cars to be able to wash them both [emoji41] It's the little things you know [emoji6][emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
