Hi All, Has anybody done a lift with a Forester SG, can you offer any advice & what its like to lift with. Just trying to decide if the Forester is a keeper or if i need to get a Defender. Thanks

previous owner may have overloaded the cig lighters with inverters or a multi cig lighter.

some new wheels & some M&S tyres

have ordered myself an OBD2 meter incase it comes on again

that was handy, just moved it to my garage & engine light didnt come on...must have heard that i was going to disconnect things & got worried

thanks Dogma, will disconnect the battery overnight as im done with it for the evening...may have to invest in an OBD2 meter, handy to have kicking about.

Hi all, Had my Forester a year at the end of this month & its been an enjoyable trouble free drive, however today the engine light has come on. Does anybody know how to an ECU reset on a Forester SG (03) N/A When I had my Lexus, you could do it by pulling 3 fuses. Thanks in advance. Aaron

My name is Aaron, I live just south of Cambridge, my current car is a '99 Lexus IS200 Sport, previous mentionable cars have been VW Corrado VR6 & Mk2 Golf My twitter user name is Petrolhead159 (thats how I found you guys) Just purchased my first Subaru, I had been looking for some time started off with the Legacy but eventualy moved up to the Forester. I bought it on saturday & pretty happy so far, It is a 2003 2.0X All Weather with 102k Miles, There are a few jobs I need to do on it before i can fully relax. Cambelt/water pump as i have no recent record. 2 new front tyres (just because they do not match) I need to source a boot luggage cover as the original is missing. need to get the security PIN reset as i do not know what it is.
