Legacy, feels sluggish with no power...
I think you may have hit the nail on the head there. When got the car, the average MPG was about 28, since I've got it and always used vpower its slowly moved up to 31.8. So that would indicate to me that the previous owner either used 95ron fuel or drove it like he stole it. So, i guess some crap could have come off the injectors or something.

hmmm, I've no idea hahah. I might it serviced again though, just to be sure to rule out any servicing issues first.

Legacy, feels sluggish with no power...
thanks for the reply. yeah it does seem like that, seems a bit odd though. I've done 2000 miles in the car since having it, those have been 2000 pretty steady miles. However, I tend to drive in 5th at anything over 40, which probably isn't healthy. - Could this have caused it? I'll see if it continues through tomorrow.

Spoiler fitting
if you have no luck on ebay, try SG petch. http://subaru.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories I found the site last night, whilst looking for a new grill. Although, I think SG Petch is a main stealer so it may be pricey.

Legacy, feels sluggish with no power...
So, Driving to work this morning (car sat over night) and driving home again (car sat outside the office since 10am) so both relatively cold starts i'd guess. The car still drives fine, but at around 3k revs it just seems to have no power or pull. I'd try and push it, but it wouldn't accelerate. It seems to clear up after about 20mins of driving (a bit of town, then dual carriage way speeds) I don't think the clutch is slipping or anything, but I'm more of computer guy, than a car guy so my knowledge is a little limited. Legacy 2.0R, 5 speed. I always use vpower btw. It was serviced before i got it, with new plugs (unaware of the brand/quality though) Any ideas? thanks in advance

looking into subaru... running costs?
My 2.0 legacy doesn't seem to drink that much fuel. I do quite alot of miles per week, driving in and around town and 20-30 miles along a dual carriageway each day. At the moment, I'm getting 31.8 MPG. Which I don't think is too bad considering its a pretty heavy car, big engine and AWD. Buying Shell Vpower is a bit pricey though, at about 136.9 per litre, however, you can collect shell points, which certainly add up, (2 points per litre of vpower, once you get 500points, you then get a £2.50 voucher) and you get extra MPG with higher RON fuel. Tax for mine is £280, although, after having a smaller 1.2 petrol at £130. The fun of driving the scooby is certainly worth the extra cost.

Heater + Frozen Windscreen =.......
i've got a tiny chip in my windscreen, tiny tiny thing. So I took it to autoglass, the chap took one look at it and said it was an old chip that they have already repaired. The only thing to do was leave it or get a new windscreen. -.-

What's your job...
Thanks Pete. Its a bit sad really, most people dont give a toss what people do for the country. We should treat our servicemen/women/police/dr's/nurses/health visitors/social workers/fire fighters/public servants with a bit of respect. Instead, the majority of people are misguided by the right wing media believing all the drivel that's printed and controlled our millionaire politicians and corporate masters. But hey, I think I'm getting a little political now. As for basic gambit, I've lost count how many nights i spent sleeping in a hole...lol, the soldiering was fun, but sadly I found the majority of lads in there are wankers. I had to work under quite a few that massively abused their position of power in attempt to secure their own position within hierarchy. Sadly to be pleasant/polite/respectful to lower ranked soldiers is seen as a weakness.

Caliper Paint?
ah thanks chaps, i was thinking of some E-tech stuff i found on larkspeed. - http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?p=28EBCPBK&a=i comes with cleaning stuff, i doubt the previous owner cleaned the calipers, so probably worth doing before i paint them.
