  2. Looks good, finishes the front end of nicely. What are those headlights called ?
  3. Is the front splitter on yet ? pics ? its on my list too
  4. Drove it like I stole it, in the name of science, to test coilover settings :D
  5. Loks like a clean example, very nice mate
  6. Cheers Ash, very happy with the stance myself. Are you looking at the ones from 'speedyracer' ? No import tax but the packaging had been opened before i received it, I assumed customs had looked inside but who knows.
  7. I've only done about 5 miles since fitting, but so far they feel solid, I have set them to maximum stiffness for now purely because I find it easier to adjust from that standpoint. Once they settle and they're aligned correctly I will keep adjusting until I get that happy medium of performance and drive ability.
  8. That is mad, Anti Lag added to the list :D
  9. I will do lee, here is just a general blurb from MDU, loads more info out there if your interested.
  10. Hi Keith, Im new to the scooby scene myself, from personal experience regarding mods I would suggest a full service first, then if funds will allow, a decat and (custom) remap, this is working well for me at the moment. Im sure people with far more knowledge can give you much more insightful information.
  11. No probs, once they're there settled in i'll keep this feed updated reliability, performance, problems etc. PM on the way Tom.
  12. Good to see another bug wagon, liking the mods fella.
  13. fitted coilovers, 1.5 hours. adjusting them them to my liking, 6 hours :D Home for a well deserved cold one.
  14. Hi chaps, well its been a long wait but I have finally fitted my coilovers today. I decided in the end on a set of adjustable MDU's from Malasia, (due to funds). I read all the reviews I could find, some really good and some bad, anyways, they were £400 with free delivery, amazingly, from pushing the 'buy it now' button, they arrived in four days. Fitment was relatively straight forward with all holes and fittings matching up nicely. I still need to have the tracking done elsewhere as the front is too low for this garages equipment. If anyones interested I can keep you guys informed of how they do over the next few months. And of course some self gratification pics. (camera phone, sorry) Before And after (wheels have been on for a while)
  15. 88k and running sweet, but needs a clutch like a pi55head needs a curry
  16. Had a spontaneous day off, by pure coincidence my mesh fog light covers turned up at midday, fitted mesh covers, took a photo, uploaded to here, now going to have a beer, love days like this :)
  17. Quick update, added some front fog light mesh covers, still need a little tweaking but pretty good fitment straight from the box.
  18. Cheers pal, done a bit of research, nobody seems to list the wagon separately so i guess they must be the same.
  19. Hi chaps, could anyone tell me if the exhaust systems on the blobeye wrx wagon are the same as the saloon. Thanks in advance.
  20. Thanks Jay. And a couple of daylight pics.
  21. Cheers guys, I will eventually get window tints although Im hoping to restrain myself from rubbing one out in the back seat. Saving for complete polybush and suspension next, I can foresee arguments with the wife in my very near future
  22. And now fitted, one thing i didn't check was the hub size, need a set of spigot rings and center caps. Really bad photos, will get some better ones once daylight arrives, might even throw a sponge at it.
  23. Just a quick update with the new rims so far. Shot blasted and etch primed Powder coated in white Having the rubber fitted tonight, and if all goes well, fitted to the car. :)
  24. Thanks Pete, Just to make it clear the green slop was nothing to do with me. I had three colours in mind, gold, black or white, I have decided to go with white for now to add a little contrast.
  25. Thanks to Google I now know what a morette is :D (typical noob) and yes I agree they do make a difference, added to the list
