Haha thought you'd like the sound of a turbo car gambit.it was a bit strange hearing the crowd over the cars but I heard somewhere they are going to make them louder, weather this is true or not I don't know
No I have a light on the dash that comes on when you turn the ignition on.its a picture of a headlight with an arrow pointing up an down.from what I can gather out of the jargon that is the handbook that light on the dash means they self level depending on the weight in the boot.i don't really fancy putting half a ton in the back to make the lights come up lol
Mine came with a certificate from prodrive with the reg number on it and an invoice for parts fitted and mapping so while probably not essential worth looking out for when going through the paperwork.
I bought my 2.5 XT already with the PPP so I can't compare the two but I love it.i got home with it and my 15 year old daughter said "huhh looks like a grandad car" to wich I replied let's go for a test drive.there were a few screams and she got out shaking so I think she has a little more respect for it now lol.also as stanton500 says the boost is highly addictive but that will result in a lot more frequent visits to the pumps.
Tried a new maf today and it's still the same once it's warmed up,I have plugged my code reader in to it and there are no faults so I guess some new spark plugs and a fuel filter are next on the list.could anyone recommend the NGK iridium ones I've been looking at and is it worth changing the leads aswell.thanks
I agree about kimi and I have to say vettel does seem a genuinely nice bloke but him winning all the time reminds me of the days when Schumacher used to do it and that bored the pants off me.you really shouldn't know the winner before the race has started but that's how it was.all the changes in regs this year should mix things up nicely.i reckon the mercs and Ferrari will take early season leads until the rest catch up with improved mods.
I've been looking on eBay for some ignition leads for my car but all that comes up are leads for an outback 2.5 or a legacy 2.5 etc, does anybody know if these are the same.
Ok thanks,I'll try unplugging it while it's running see what happens.i did try cleaning it the other day but it's still the same.it will be going in for a service next month for oil, plugs, filter and leads so hopefully one of these should sort it.
Under gentle acceleration I've got a bit of a stutter (not me the car) it seems to hold back and jerk a bit.once the turbo kicks in it seems ok.when it's warmed up it s a bit lumpy on tickover aswell.all I've done since I got it last week is put a green air filter in and a full tank of v power although it says inside the petrol flap 95ron only.so what do you think plugs, maf, petrol or something more sinister
