  1. You are right @Gambit i should have done this to mine. I miss the power!
  2. If you unplug the MAF with the car still running it should stall, if it doesn't then you know the MAF is faulty. Good place to start :)
  3. Looks like all your hard work has paid off Savage and you are now breaking records!
  4. Sorry to hear about your accident man, hope you manage to get it back on the road as it was a really lovely car :).
  5. Glad you like the car @david1972 and once you get the couple of niggles out the way it will be smooth sailing :). I've decided it is time to sell mine, although I'm not trying very hard to do so. Got it on ebay and put it for a high price in the hopes no one will be interested ;).
  6. Given the car a good clean inside and out :). Also been done for speeding (37 in a 30)... to be fair I had just come out a 50 and was slowing down. The speed van got me right next the limit change sign the bugger!
  7. Wow that is some expensive gas @Dogconker. I will inform my rents as they have a new Mazda which hopefully shouldn't need it doing for a while as they barely use the Air Con lol. I went to look at a Toyota Rav 4 last night, nice car and would suit my mountain biking and stuff but the thought of leaving my Subaru keeps putting me off. I get too much enjoyment out of it lol.
  8. Turbos just seem to suck up everything infront of the car Savage lol. Got my car back last night, MOT passed with advisories on worn discs so all is good really just new discs and pads soon. Got new mudflaps and headlights fitted as well :).
  9. How much is that going to set you back? (round figure will do). Interested because I would like mine done sometime this year.
  10. Giving my car to my brother tonight and wont be getting it back for a couple of days until a little list of jobs is done. (Uppipe Gasket, Fit mud flaps, Fit lights, swap wheels front to back, touch up wheels (paint has flaked slightly), general look over, MOT). Biking to work instead of listening to the burble :(.
  11. Glad it's only an alloy, could have been a whole lot worse. I can imagine it isn't very fun going backwards down a hill out of control!
  12. We've had rain, hail, snow, more rain and thunderstorms... Think the world is going wrong somewhere. Got my MOT next week, giving it to my brother to sort a few things out such as the headlights, mudflaps and exhaust gasket which I've blown to pieces.
  13. I have them in mine and they hold the boot lining in place so could perhaps be used on newage onwards.
  14. I'm only after 2 bolts, there are 2 extra ones on the STI than the WRX. They bolt the subframe and engine cradle together. I will give you a ring tomorrow mate :).
  15. Nice one. It's the front "C" subframe.
