As for the oil smoke it's rockercover gasket , try have a look down side of engine, see if you can see any stains on top of exhaust ,I had the same thing easy job to do :-)

My mate brought his wr1 from there and I had a look there before I got my scoob nice bloke good cars pricey , but there some of the best scoobs I've seen

Hello and welcome I'm running a hrc fuel pump which is good , pink injectors 3 port bs ,decat exhaust etc cooler plugs few other bits and bobs and a vf43 turbo , and a remap :-) , pushing around 330 bhp at 1.4 bar and pulls hard to the redline it's now a very fast car , I can see this thing getting me in trouble , the downside is it is abit laggy at times very thirsty , I agree with stants the td04 is well suited to road driving

I'd get a code reader and see whats wrong could be nothing or could be a big bill down the road

Cheers savage I will do , took the o rings off my standard injectors for now I greased them before fitting , had a good test drive all good :-)

Took my injectors out in 15 mins :-) one of the top seals has blown and I was !Removed! fuel all over the engine not good , trying to find top feed onring seals is actually quite hard

Very nice mate , that's why I got my scoob as we was expecting our 3 rd and needed all the things , you said :-) myn was completely standard , year later lots spent here I am lol

Easy as mate the hardest part is undoing all the bolts holding the injector covers on , the are a couple right round the back , then couple bolts holding fuel rail on a few hours maybe less , don't bother putting the covers back on no need :-)

I have finally got delivery of my bugeye sti scoop and under tray version 7 oem sti with water jet :-) ,just setts the car off now , didn't realise how much bigger the scoop is ill do pics in daylight , but in the mean while been getting used to 330 odd bhp :-) wow scary you know you got a fast car when you can do a motorbike , some big BMW enduro thing lol think he was surprised as he gave me a nod :-) ( he started it)

Don't know why but evo have a hate campaign going on against subaru , considering topgear rated to subaru impreza one of the best cars ever made :-) , proberly owned by Renault because that's all they seem to rate , and look what ford have done with the rs basically copied the subaru impreza

I got my remap today :-) I'm so happy with race dynamics aka Duncan really nice bloke and top notch ,service my car runs sweet as a nut , producing roughly 330 ish at 1.4 bar , well happy fast as fook !!!! Pulls to the redline on the vf43 , don't run out of puff what so ever But he has sett it up to come in smoothly to help with my wrx gearbox , I got a few nice comments :-) aswell I got a really good strong engine and he said he could quite happily map cars like myn alday as I have set myn up really well :-) only downside is reckons if I had a sti tmic I could be pushing over 340 bhp , but he said that would be the safest limit on my wrx , chuffed Also good luck with the jdm import twinscroll legacy :-)
