  1. Very nice :-) Cheers Alan
  2. Cheers gambit will give him a ring. Like the taking the windows out bit as usually means it will be quality. Don't suppose you know someone who does tow bars this side of the river too lol Cheers Alan
  3. Hiya gambit, Did you manage to ask him :-) Cheers Alan
  4. Going through the same thing with mine as this is my first Subaru. Love the outback we've got and it does feel planted. Interested to see how it copes with a bit of mud though lol Cheers Alan
  5. Nice one, Don't suppose you could ask him what it would be. Probably looking at 20% I think ?? Cheers mate :-) Alan
  6. Hiya all. Good news that my old fiesta has sold so a bit of spare cash to spend on the scooby. Boring bits to some extent as I need a tow bar fitting so i can tow the car trailer (am going to have a go at fitting it myself) but then I also want to get the rear windows tinted. I had a go at this myself with some stuff off eBay on my old frontera but want it doing properly on the outback. Has anyone had this done anywhere localish or have any recommendations for brands etc? Cheers Alan
  7. Looking really nice. Deffo a sleeper :-)
  8. Excellent, looking forward to seeing the pics :-) Cheers Alan
  9. Nice one. Nothing beats the feeling of the first start up :-) Good luck Cheers Alan
  10. Looks really nice :-) Cheers Alan
  11. Bit of gaffa tape and some cable ties and he could have made his next timed run :-). Very lucky guy and a very strong car. Spectators looked a bit nervous about the wheel flying at them. Marshalls looked to be on it quickly though. Unsung heroes those guys. Couldn't do it without them!, Cheers Alan
  12. Gutted mate. Hope you find a nice replacement ASAP Cheers Alan
  13. Like this a lot. Looks really nice. Top work :-)
  14. Washed it :-) Also fixed the button on my hands free kit as it had moved a bit and wouldn't engage properly :-)
  15. A sad day for rallying. Feel for the families of those injured and killed and the drivers/navigators involved as will be terrible for all. Trouble is rallying can still have spectators close to the track whereas circuits they are protected. I do hope there are no repercussions on the sport for this though as health and safety could destroy it :-( Cheers Alan
  16. Yeah going to need to book a day of work though and try and fit it all in :-)
  17. Nice one thank you :-) Cheers Alan
  18. Do you know their name and I'll google them Ta Alan
  19. Ta for that. Might ring the Louth one then? Ar they any good? Need a couple of parts as well so migh get them at the same time. I gather it is something to do with the rear brake lines suffering corrosion under a panel at the rear? They are sending letters out but as I've recently bought mine doubt I'll get anything? Cheers Alan
  20. Hiya, Being new to the Subaru brand I haven't needed to hunt for a deale yet but reading some info it looks like the 04-09 legacies and out backs are due a recall to the dealer re the brake lines?? Question is which is the best dealer to take it to round here? Any recommendations at all? I know a lot of you use the chaps in Sheffield for other work but as this is main dealer presume it will be free :-) not sure if any of our legacy drivers have already had this done? Cheers Alan
  21. Nice one :-) Thank you Alan Will figure out how mine comes out. Hopefully not one of these "disassemble the whole front end" hobbies lol
  22. And wave at the old grand dad mobile over barrow way :-) Not been on here long as just got mine recently but they are a friendly bunch and have made me welcome :-) Looking forward to the meet though Cheers Alan
  23. Front emd of mine with the standard grille. I'm not keen on it tbh and think it looks vectra ish. Much prefer a clean mesh grill tbh. Also will just give it that personal touch? Cheers Alan
  24. Saw your wave at the last minute. On way home from trip to rad coningsby. Nice day out apart from the rain bbmf planes were ace :-) Cheers Alan
