Yep loving it. Getting a towbar fitted then having the windows tinted. Next job will be the grille if I can find one then going graphite on the alloys :-) According to the trip meter thingy I'm averaging 47mpg over about 1800 miles already! Cheers Alan
  2. Yep that's the way it seems. Lady said it takes about 20 mins to check it. Just need to book it in. Only needed the reg number and it must have come up on the computer :-)
  3. Probably going to go to Burrells at donny as it is less of a faff to get too :-)
  4. Rang the dealers re the recall on the rear brake corrosion on mine and they confirmed it is due to be looked at. Just need to organise some time of work to get it done. Cheers Alan
  5. Looking good. Are you going to paint the bolts or get some stainless ones??
  6. Yeah be up for tagging along if my wife shifts fall right :-) Yeah got options on a witter one or a Thule (which is the cheaper) so sorted.
  7. Took it off road on the track to my boys cub camp. Only a dirt track but probably the furthest it has ever been lol. Needs a clean again now though lol Cheers Alan
  8. Nice one thanks again gambit. They have come in about £50 cheaper than the other quote I had in hull so worth nipping to Louth. If I can arrange a day off work might see if I can get the bar done in the morning then on to Lincoln for the windows. Will have it looking how I want it soon. Can see about having the wheels coloured gunmetal grey as well to try and give it that sleek look. Cheers Alan
  9. Hi gambit, rang perry and he's good for doing it. Price seems good as well. Probably going to take it to Lincoln as my garage is a bit dusty lol Cheers for the heads up. Just need to sort the towbar then can get it booked in Cheers Alan
  10. Well done looks ace :-)
  11. Very nice :-) Cheers Alan
  12. Cheers gambit will give him a ring. Like the taking the windows out bit as usually means it will be quality. Don't suppose you know someone who does tow bars this side of the river too lol Cheers Alan
  13. Hiya gambit, Did you manage to ask him :-) Cheers Alan
  14. Going through the same thing with mine as this is my first Subaru. Love the outback we've got and it does feel planted. Interested to see how it copes with a bit of mud though lol Cheers Alan
  15. Nice one, Don't suppose you could ask him what it would be. Probably looking at 20% I think ?? Cheers mate :-) Alan
  16. Hiya all. Good news that my old fiesta has sold so a bit of spare cash to spend on the scooby. Boring bits to some extent as I need a tow bar fitting so i can tow the car trailer (am going to have a go at fitting it myself) but then I also want to get the rear windows tinted. I had a go at this myself with some stuff off eBay on my old frontera but want it doing properly on the outback. Has anyone had this done anywhere localish or have any recommendations for brands etc? Cheers Alan
  17. Looking really nice. Deffo a sleeper :-)
