  1. Like tom I used nightbreaker unlimited, nice and bright. I've now put some osram cool blue intense in which ain't too bad either. Don't know about sizes on blob tho.
  2. I'm getting some vibe slick speakers as they're pretty shallow so shouldn't be a problem with the windows. I just need the correct diameters. I've been tild they're 6.5" front & 4" rear? Cheers
  3. Hi all, can somebody please tell me the right sizes for the front and rear door speakers on a 2002 bugeye, Cheers
  4. I bought front drilled and grooved for my landrover, straight from mtec, worked out cheaper than on eBay. I've had no problems with them. I was thinking of getting them all round on my scoob.
  5. Hi Gary, I've only just seen this thread, did you sort your light tints? I did my bug with fly eye, (profile pic) from fly eye themselves. Easy to do & good price.
  6. All sorted now , it was me just being a bit of a numpty. I measured the diameter of the backbox pipe which was 2 1/2" and I wrongly assumed that the rest of the exhaust would be the same, but no! The rest of the exhaust is 3". I've looked on eBay Nigel but could find anything! So I'd do what gambit does and take it to your local exhaust fitter. Mine only charged me a tenner and that included new gasket, new bolts & a brew Cheers guys
  7. Drop dead Fred. Fantastic! Real shame.
  8. Hi guys, I've bought a nearly new stainless backbox for my bugeye. It is the correct exhaust. The problem is that the pipe diameter on the backbox is approx 3" where the pipe on the car (middle section is approx 2 1/4" - 2 1/2" is there any kind of adaptor I can get instead of cutting off the flanges and using a reducer? Any help appreciated. Cheers
  9. I spoke to Martin, knows what he's talking about and a nice guy. Sheffield is a bit too far for me to travel being from Stoke. I used A.B.P Motorsport near Crewe. Very satisfied!
  10. Cheers for your advice tom, Sheffield Subaru were very helpful. Clutch sorted now
  11. Hi, I bought a pro-r washable dry filter, apparently made by pipercross. Only had it in for 2 weeks seems ok so far.
  12. Oh, my cars a 52 plate registered in September, if that makes any difference.
  13. Hi all, I think my clutch will need replacing soon. WRX 2002 I've been quoted in the region of around the £700 mark
  14. Found this filter on the bay, pro-r manufactured by pipercross. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281332060959&alt=web Let me know what you think: genuine pipercross or not?
  15. No mate, I've just bought the car off some guy in his 50's. The cars totally standard, no mods what so ever . What door speakers do you suggest I use? I know they're 6 1/2" but i hear there's not much depth to play with.
  16. Sorry, that should have said MAF not mad
  17. Is there much of a problem with the one's that need oiling? I don't fancy causing any problems with the mad. I've just seen the pro r one's, they're made by pipercross aren't they?? I think that may be the one I go for.
  18. I've found a pipercross dry type one, do k&n do a dry type?
  19. Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my air filter from standard to either a k&n or pipercross panel filter. Could anyone shed any light as to which one is best? Cheers
  20. Stereo fitted, Only took 15 minutes! Used the brackets from the factory stereo, but bought some 16mm M5 screws as the original ones aren't long enough. I thought I'd change the speakers but since I've changed stereo's the sound is 100% better.
  21. Hi all, I'm thinking of fitting an aftermarket double din stereo in my bugeye. I was wondering if I will need a fitting adaptor? I've seen a YouTube video of a guy fitting a single din which he screwed back into the original fitting on the car. Will this work with a double din stereo? Any help appreciated
  22. It's a ninja 11 back box. 2 1/2" pipe
