  1. Ive only got a 2 litre.I was thinking that the 3 breather pipes that go to the air intake pipe are just switched to a catch tank.My reason for looking into this mod is for better breathing for the Subaru and bigger outlet for flow with out restrictions and any boost leaks that can happen between the turbo and maf.Im after make a solid intercooler type pipe with a piece of silicone hose either end to mount on to
  2. Hi mate have you move the pipes from the air intake pipe to turbo to the catch can and what have you done with the air intake pipe to blank the out lets off
  3. My idea is to fit a bigger bend lol. When I said blank the other bits off I was trying to explain what I was after.Do I just move the pipes from the air intake pipe to a catch tank then.Does anything need adding to the sump
  4. Has anyone done this mod.I have the breather pipes going to the air intake pipe on my turbo do I stick these breather pipes that are going to my air intake pipe to the oil separator and blank my air intake pipe off.Im doing the blob eye powersteering pipe mod in the next few weeks so my power steering tank will be remote so I can fit a bigger air intake pipe and fit a metal version of the pipe.
  5. Its this one im after just not paying all the extra money for postage for a cap lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-2006-Subaru-Legacy-Impreza-Forester-Center-Hub-Cap-OEM-2-25-J3cc125-/111261677628?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19e7b6783c
  6. I changed the rear discs on the forester this evening. They was heavily pitted, slightly warped and made squealing noises lol.I also clean the rear shoes and surrounding areas with brake cleaner as well :D
  7. I removed my aircon from the Forester :D
  8. Hi im after a Subaru wheel centre cap for a 16 inch wheel to go on a forester
  9. I think im gonna remove the aircon.I don't use it any way and never had a car where ive bothered with ac.Was there any subarus that came with out ac from factory
  10. Not sure how the car would start better lol.Do you leave the aircon on when you start the car in the morning lol.I do agree with the other person post about better airflow through the rad if the aircon rad wasn't there
  11. Nice motor mate.I bought a wagon also lol I can do every thing with it lol
  12. Ive not seen it about on the roads.I couldn't miss it if I seen it lol.If you lost the stickers it would be a very tidy car
  13. Im not sure if I like the sound lol.You don't hear other subarus making that noise lol.
  14. Spent this afternoon messing with my drivers front caliper bracket to hub.It now needs a heli coil off to machine mart in the morning to get one and retap the thread.Does anyone no the correct torque setting for mounting bracket to hub.Im very heavy handed and carnt gauge it.Gonna have to use my torque wrench
  15. Whats left of the car Matt
  16. Update.Took the car out this morning and the stuck brake caliper is no more and boy does it shift now with the td04 on it lol.I managed to get the old stuck slider out and sorted it.Im yet to sort the drivers slider out yet though it isn't that bad I will sort that out as soon as its dry weather because right now its !Removed! down. Also got a squeak coming from rear pads on drivers side which you can hear when your crawling along at 3 mph or so.Its obviously dragging on the disc so when the above two jobs are sorted it will be even better
  17. Rubbers are gonna be changed very soon.It was only to free it up as I had nothing else to hand late at night and the car was needed.
  18. I do prefer the older foresters my shape 2000 model and pre 2000
  19. Im on std rims.4 pots will go on with a spacer. How ever if I change my caliper for a new one its just gonna be another 2 pot for now.Ive managed to free the sliders off now .Ive also took the piston out of the caliper and cleaned it up and greased the rubber seal for now.I can get a new caliper for £39 or get a new seal kit for about £16.
  20. Oh I forgot to say the forester discs and calipers are the same as the Subaru impreza ones.I bought some new discs and pads yesterday with forester and impreza wrote on it.4 pot calipers will also go on but might need a a small spacer for wheels
  21. I don't no how that's happened lol
  22. Changed the oil yesterday for some car lube 10w/60 fully synthetic the drive is more smooth now.The oil I took out was !Removed! really black like its not been changed for years.I also changed my front pads and discs to find out one of my pots on the calipers was seized and the small mounting holes for the calipers was stuck so not happy about that right now
