I ended up buying the decat lol ive got sticky fingers.Im looking at a remap some time nxt month depending on where this guy is or it might be the month after if he is miles away.

Today I went to fit my middle decat pipe and the donut fell into about 100 pieces so ordered a genuine one of ebay with fitting kit.I then fitted my turbo upgrade so that meant removing the down pipe which Im glad I did because the brackets have snapped (rusted away) so now Im thinking do I order my front decat pipe and have done so im not messing with exhausts later on

Ive read that they do go on as long as your not changing calipers etc other wise you might need spacers for the wheels

Sounds like a plan.I do want the remap.But I have not finished with engine mods and don't want to be in and out tweaking the map every 5 minutes especialy at the cost to have it done.I will have a dyno run and get the afrs checked to be safe thou.Ive been reading bits about the ecu lab map and seems quiet interesting going mafless with the extra toys as well.

Is there a way of knowing what shade of black my forester s turbo is?or is there just one colour of it?

When I upgrade the turbo from the tf305 to the td05 will I see a increase in power with out the mapping.Im fitting the rear decat pipe as well

Decat pipe and turbo have now arrived :D Turbo is from the WRX.

Ive come today from work to find my wrx turbo has arrived :D .That and my decat should see a big difference even before its mapped

From what ive read of this thread it defo isn't the head gasket or ecu.When you switch the ignition on in most cars the fan comes on automaticly telling you there is a fault.The fan being on like that is like limp mode the car protecting its self.If this doesn't happen the eml will be on and drive in limp mode.To me the problem is with the wiring loom in the engine bay sounds like when the work was done on the engine the wires have been trapped in some thing.Id replace the engine bay loom and have done with it.The guy you bought it off defo new about this problem and fobbed the car off to an innocent buyer.You would have a hard time proving this.

Decat pipe came today so first thing I did is went straight out side to see if its the same length.Its the correct pipe and came with a gasket as well :D Stainless steel pipe as well.
