just fitted some carbon fibre eye brows ......alright you cant see the carbon but i think it looks ok

heres a wee vid of my mrs driving my ra aka ' the plow ' .i had to have some eye treatment so she ended up driving. quality not great as i could not see that well by this point and also didnt want her to know i was filming . she said just before this ' its funny how the scooby changes your driving attitude..... turns you into a right hooligan. i was the same. im a good mechanic and do most of the work myself so when i blew 5th gear in my ra i decided to do it my self. its not as bad as it looks. tho i change my gear ratios to sti ratio as the ra screamed at 130. got the !Removed! quick but was red line at that speed. the only thing i did not do was re set the shims and back lash. i got a pal to do that as did not trust myself to do it. get it wrong and kiss the box good bye. i replace the all the seals.... input shaft and rear shaft and both diff seals too just to be sure. make sure the box is lying on its correct side or when you remove the upper half all the shafts fall out. also be aware that to much movement on the selctor shafts you may lose the spring loaded ball and its a bas***d to put back in. think i have pics too some where of my rebuild

pretty sure you wont need a re map for that. tho someone may know better lol

. as above . no clearance. and f you are thnkinkng of changeing the belt then make sure you buy the full kit. belt, all the pulleys and the tensioner as i have heard storys of pulleys failing after they have been took off and put back on again. not a cheap job but i did mine mydself and it still cost me around 200 squid for the bits alone

i have a 6k in my 1995 type ra . and with the decat , fmic and tdo5 i was at 200 brake on the rolling road. and told that is a safe 300 but thats as far as you can go before i would need either a esl or apexi/simtec to mapp for higher power............ which is my next stop then that will be it........

you will have to stop changeing them in your gimp suit. i find it too restrictive on movement. good in certain cases but not for changing plugs.
