no turbo change at all. was fine last time i run it but been off the road for about 6 weeks. thats why i thought something was sticking

cars been off the road for a few month and got her back on the road at the weekend and got severe overboost now. could it be the waste gate sticking, dodgy boost solinoid? or some thing else. ive no cel on the dash so did not think it was the solinoid as thought that would throw up the cel.also how tight should the wastegate rod be on the arm as when i took it off it sucked the rod back to the diaphram and i have to priase it out abot 8mm to go back over the arm?

whilst your in there feed a cold air pipe up thru to the filter too.

boost solinoid on the inner wing. take it off and clean it with brake cleaner and try that

its abit of a legalaity thing this, you cant leave your keys in the car whilst its running, cars not secure so anyone could just jump in . however as you can take your keys out and lock your car then the car is secure and even if someone broke in the steering lock would be on and also once its timed out the car is dead. its the same as the point of starting your car and leaving it running during the winter to de ice before you drive it. , police turn a blind eye to that one. and one last thing , what about these keyless remote starters. that can start the car by a button remotely whilst the car is still locked, there not illegal.. i think you could get off with the timer thing for the safty aspect of the car is secure and the keys are in your pocket. totally different when you leave the keys in whilst its running

good points there son. tho over the years i have found one common problem with the classics.check the rear strut tops as there seem that a lot of uk one have bad rot areas around the rear strut tops.

spark plugs? or coil pack/ packs? does it clear up the revs ? my money would be more on ignition side than fuel

had the same problem last year with a wife / goat exchange.. also said not as advertized so wanted the 3 goats back and a camel in compensation. . bugger. was going to deal the goats for yaks then deal them for some tyres for the scooby........

at the last r r i was told it was over fuling up to 5k rpm then started to run lean. so i have a walbro 255 and the 440s to go on but need it remaped for that. so just waiting for a apexi to come up then will fit them all and get her done
