  1. They are getting delivered tomorrow unfortunately have to go into the office in the morning. Should get at least one fitted in the afternoon though in between trying to get the emissions down after failing the mot
  2. Took her for an mot. Failed on a side light bulb and a seat belt tucked behind the rear seat nice easy fixes. Failed emissions more worrying. Took the air filter off and it's really dirty so gonna get some k&n cleaner for it. The emissions look border line on 2 of the 3 so hope the quick fix works enough with some injector cleaner for good measure.
  3. Bought front and rear strut braces just need to MOT her on Monday when I get home from $@!t Saudi
  4. Hi guys, just ordered said strut braces for my beloved 04 STI, gonna treat her when I get home. Bought these strut braces from Japshop at £25 less than scoobyworld is advertising them for and thats not taking into account postage from scobbyworld. Once they arrive and Ive fitted them I'll post a review and pictures of how easy or not the fitting is and the quallity.
  5. Looking good mate will the sound deadening affect the fitment of the door card? If not it should be a big improvement.
  6. Hi mate welcome to the club. Rope tech is that a posh way of saying rope access Ha ha. My rope access has run out now thinking I'm gettin to old (and fat) for dangling off ropes. Your scooby looks nice from the pic a few more pics load on here would go down well though :D :D
  7. Thanks buddy one for the diary next I think.
  8. My o4 blobye sti is running 355 with only a cat back exhaust a 3 port boost solenoid and remap. I believe every time you add something its best to have the map tweaked to keep it running sweet. Definitely worth doing if you go for a bigger turbo upgrade.
  9. Love a bit of quirkiness ha ha hope its got a much fettled flat 4 in that wee pick up van.
  10. Excellent pictures mate where was the event held?? Love my rally cars the 037 looks awesome :D :D
  11. Hi mate nice looking wagon there are plenty of wagon owners on here to give you great advice. This is the 1st forum I've ever joined and I'm addicted to it just like I'm addicted to my SCOOBY. Its frustrating at the minute as I don't get very good internet to keep up with what's going on :(
  12. I've no experience of using HEL brake lines on my scooby yet but will be fitting them at some point as I use them on both my gsxr 1000 and gsxr 750. The quality is very good for the price.
  13. Good advice Tidgy always best to here from people who have used the gear to get an honest opinion. I've read your posts before on the matter and found it very useful. Thanks mate :) :) :)
  14. Very handy tool But I went for the one with the usb cable for the laptop from scoobyworld got it the same time I bought a new lambda sensor to clear the code. It has loads of features on the laptop and must b honest I don't know what half the stuff on there is for or how it changes the settings on the car so I leave well alone and just use it for the codes and data retrieval.
  15. As Dino says you need to give it a good soak in penetrating fluid and use a ring spanner to remove so it lessens the chances of rounding the nut. I started with an open ended spanner but it started to round so hunted for a ring spanner to finish the job. I took the heat shield off and loosened the inner wheel arch plastics off to gain access.
  16. Like the look of them and yes I would go gold though.
  17. I have a similar issue as you MALAD that when I stop it sometimes feels like the rear drops (only feels like one corner) and slight knock, was gonna get a set of Tein street flex coilovers fit them myself and then have it all aligned properly. Once funds allow get the active pro gps EDFC kit fitted.

  21. Not a bad tool the diagrams are useful for identifying parts. I'll book mark that web site for future reference.

  23. One option i suppose or just turn the fader to the fronts. Let us know how your new speakers sound with the soundproofing in place as well might look at getting as set if they sound and fit good.
  24. Look forward to seeing how they look mate once you've installed them, could be a another option for the front doors not sure whether to do anything with the rear doors ????
  25. I'm upgrading my 04 impreza with a alpine ive 530 bt head unit (200 quid ebay) with a sub and kenwood amp I've had for ages. spoke to my local audio shop and they do a front door upgrade for the speaker for about £147 including sound proofing/deadening for the front doors and fitting. sound deadening worth looking at mate as its quite cheap and the door panels are thin metal so wll improve the sound quality for little money while the door card is off.
