I've got a set of these easy upgrade with a nice impact when the bonnet is up. My only gripe is not the stays but my ally rad mounts must be slightly out as the stays are not quite square enough for me minor niggle probably but I like things right.

It's cleaned up well and looks a good base for a project. Good luck with it another one that'll be good to see progressing. Wish I had the time but more importantly the space ie big garage/workshop to do a project like this.

Agree either remove the top plate or alternatively the whole tank and paint it. I removed the whole tank and painted it black using red lead undercoat. A word of warning if you do remove it the hose attached to the filler cap on mine was very stiff to get off been on since day of manufacture and ended up snapping the filler neck off. Flea bay replacement cost £25 for the whole tank.

Yes I like that look but don't like the overhang on the wrc spoiler so the stiffies are a very good substitute 👍👍👍

Let us know what they suggest as I can't remember what the guys at Revoloution in Gateshead suggested. On a side note still waiting for my whiteline arb & mounts to turn up don't think it's Revoloutions fault they are waiting for them to come from Australia 😡😡

I've gone for the EBC yellow pads on the front and I'm well pleased with them 👍👍

Needs a bit more elbow grease to match some of the delights on show here but it's a work in progress all be it slowly.

Finally got round to fitting bonnet gas struts, a few silicone hoses buts needs a good clean up.

I'm wanting to go coilovers but don't want to lose to much ride height like the stance of mine as it sits now. I'm slowly but surely amassing the suspension upgrades bit by bit with the coilovers being the final purchase. Would love to go tein active pro set up but not sure wether to spend that much 🤔🤔

50 in a couple of weeks with a blob sti had it 2 1/2 years now and honestly believe the people (friends) that say mid life crisis or things similar are just jealous. Bought it cos I love the sound and rally heritage just awesome.
