  7. I've fitted a japspeed ally rad found it top notch about half the price of mishimoto think it was about ยฃ130 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  15. Looks like I'm gonna borrow your idea then as it wouldn't bother me looking to see the level. Sorry for borrowing your idea though ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  16. Hi and welcome I'm sure someone with more ideas will reply but have you checked for a broken Spring ? Things like the top mount bolts for the struts and the drop links. Hope you get it resolved quickly and cheaply ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  17. Really nice car pal and top photos just looking at your windscreen washer bottle like it being black did you paint it your self ? Mines a nightmare tried all kinds to clean it up think worst of it is on the inside but over the Xmas it's one of the jobs I'm gonna tackle but mite try painting it if it doesn't clean up. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  18. If they don't sell then I may well be interested in them in the new year. Not to bothered about them needing refurb or the tyres. Cheers buddy.
  19. Mines just subtle to give it that better clarity rather than put to much through the door speakers and distorting them. It's a Sony explode not sure of the rms on it it's not that large as its only an 8 inch. That's run on a separate amp and the door speakers on their own amp. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  20. I have similar alpine speakers fitted and they are a gud unit. I've also put a sub in the boot find it a must with the heavy/rock music I like to drive to. Wiring is piece of cake just takes a bit of time finding a good place to come through the firewall as previously said. I put an inline fuse at the battery end and a fused junction box in the boot as didn't think it a good idea to have an unprotected live cable running the length of the car. Plenty room down the sides to run all the cables. Door cards are easy to remove just take your time so you don't damage anything. Good luck with the install let us know how it goes and sounds.
  21. So today I picked up a set of silicone hoses from japspeed but due to the weather ( lashing down ) I've just replace the top rad hose and one from the expansion tank. Also fitted Mishimoto radiator stays.
  22. If you go for an uprated radiator ie thicker core then be careful of your top hose. I replaced mine with silicone ones about a month ago and the top one has just split caused by it rubbing on the alternator pulley. I failed to notice that the hose was sitting closer to it due to the extra thickness of the radiator. Expensive mistake that could of been avoided by trimming the hose down by 10mm or so where it connects to the top of the radiator. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ
  23. And that last statement says it all. My time spent in the army (REME) all the vehicles were refuelled to fill the tanks to stop said condensation and thus rusting the inside of the fuel tank. A lot of sites / plant hire firms say their plant must be refuelled at the end of the shift for the same reason. Sadly no everyone can afford to keep their car fully tanked up and also if it is stolen the thieving gits have lots of fuel to abuse your pride and joy with. If that ever happens to mine I pray they wrap it round a tree and it bursts into flames with them still in it.
  24. I looked at the mishimoto rad and it worked out at nearly ยฃ300 just for the rad. Japspeed was over half the price of mishimoto and pretty straight forward to do myself. Took about half an hour to swap over.
  25. I replaced mine with an ali one from japspeed. The fit is perfect and it keeps the temp down better than the original due to it being larger. Think I paid around ยฃ120 ish very reasonable I thought. My original rad had a similar problem to what u describe.
