Hello guys. I'm curious. What year impreza do you have, with what engine and then what would you buy if you were doing a service for following. Break fluid, Engine oil, Air filter Oil filter, Spark plugs, Cam belt (obviously not every service) And anything else you would change -

My budget doesn't quite cover that!!! I think I will renew my insurance when it comes up and ask how much extra it would be for some modifications and then pick something in my budget that I deep "worth it"

Saving for suprises is probably the best use! And I have speakers and amps fom my old car but a new head unit will probably be purchased.

It's got nice alloys, tyres I have budgeted, will get my fun out of what's on first. Only problem with remap, cat and induction is impact on insurance as it is killer anyway as I'm only 20. What kind of cost would I be looking for bushes and stuff? Is it mainly the time doing it. Also any other cheap and easy improvements I might as well do?

I am just about to buy a standard impreza Hawkeye, If you had around 1000 pounds spare to spend on it, what would be the things you would buy? (not including servicing or cam belt)

Agree with the above, but from what i have heard, People seem to get better results with say a K&N flat panel filter with higher air flow, over the expensive K&N Induction Cone Filter ? Pretty cheap upgrade for one of these and easy to fit!

Yes I will do, obviously infrared will not pass through the bonnet so it will be the temperature of the bonnet itself but still usefully to see!

I know its not a Subaru engine, its actually a 1.4L 16v Astra Engine, BUT, in April when i get my Impreza i will do an image of that's engine. I thought you guys would enjoy this in the mean time, its a thermal image showing the heat distribution through the engine bay, this is the highest resolution image you will find of a car engine bay, taken with a camera that costs 6 times the price of my car ! its what i do for a living (Selling and using these cameras as well as other things) if you have any questions i will be sure to do my best in answering them. hope you guys enjoy and keep an eye out for my Scooby in April!
