BMW Drivers
** Do you or someone you know, own a BMW? You might want to read this! ** Tag & Share! ** BMWs recalled after hackers manage to activate indicators, BMW dealers are preparing to remove the bulbs from some 140,000 affected vehicles, and snap the aerials off to prevent further attacks ** BMW owners have been warned that they’re vulnerable to attack by hackers, after an owner reported that his car had been overcome by mystery flashing lights. Using a computer to access the vehicle’s Infotainment system, hackers activated some redundant old code and let other road users know where the hell it was going. Derek Hostage was driving his BMW X6 when the attack happened, and explained how the lights came on as he was cutting up an ambulance. “The lights completely took me by surprise”, claimed Hostage, “so I swerved into a bus stop and stuck my fingers up at the waiting queue.” “That’s when the lights started flashing on both sides of my car. I assumed it must be Christmas, so I phoned my mum to tell her it was my sister’s turn to have her this year.” BMW dealers are preparing to remove the bulbs from some 140,000 affected vehicles, and snap the aerials off to prevent further attacks. Mr Hostage has already had the upgrade, and can once again travel with the air of mystery he’s accustomed to. “I was quite pleased that the work carried out on the indicators allows me to park in disabled bays!.”

A farmer and a son live on a farm. The farmer is sitting in the kitchen when his son comes in from the barn with a large glass of white liquid. He is so excited he exclaims "I just milked our cow daddy!", then he takes a big drink from the glass. His father just stares at him. "Son, we don't have a cow. We have a horse..."

Two girls take a walk on a hot summer day. They see an old lady sitting in front of her house eating watermelon. They notice she isn't wearing any panties. "Is it cooler without panties?" they ask. She says, "I don't know if it's cooler, but it sure keeps the flies off the watermelon."

BoozyDaves Jokes Thread
A guy in a supermarket goes up to the cashier and places two cans of dog food on the counter. The cashier asks, "Do you have a dog sir?" "Yes, it's at home," replies the man. "To be able to sell you the dog food sir, I must see the dog. That is store policy," says the cashier. Next day the man goes places two cans of cat food on the counter. "Do you own a cat sir?" asks the cashier. "Yes I do, it's at home," says the man. "Well I am sorry sir. Store policy. I must see the cat before I can sell you cat food," says the cashier. The next day the man returns to the store and walks directly to the same cashier. He has a brown paper bag in his hand. "Here," he says to the cashier, "put your hand in here." The cashier puts her hand in the brown paper bag. "It is all soft and warm," she says. "Yes, that's right," says the man, "I need to buy two rolls of toilet paper."

WRX 05 - How much bhp gain with remapping?
Mine was stock bar a high flow panel filter and a different back box, remapped to around 250, a decat down pipe and new fuel filter was my next step taking it to 260. I then went STI VF35 turbo, pink injectors, decat up pipe and got to 315 (but i think with a better mapper i may have made more)

Hiss upon start up?
Hey guys, I have an 03 Blob and have just noticed an odd sound. When i start the car there is a hiss, cant pin point it, but its around the back maybe, under the car, cant tell what side though. the sound starts as soon as the car is started and then stops after about 30 seconds every time. what is this, a problem, a usual function not to worry about, or a snake trapped in my diff?

If its really bad could be a wheel bearing. if you PM me your email address I have a PDF on replacing the rear wheel bearings, just for your info :)

BAD RUMBLE NOISE
Nothing to do with tyres is it? obviously going to be worse at speed and also worse out on the open roads (with rougher roads)

Thanks Dave, I was thinking inner wing, just didn't want to spend stupid money on a full K&N Induction hit at several hundred pounds.
