  1. They look pretty flush and I would have 13mm more poke 😕 cheers Geoff. That does look good on 19's though
  2. Right guys I'm after a bit of advice, I've seen the wheels I want for sale in the uk one set only and there's no more stock from th supplier. The wheels are 18 x 9.5 and to fit my car the recommended offset on this size is 35 -40. The set available are offset 22 so will stick out further. If I went for these would I be able to get away with it or would the 13mm difference just give me a nightmare with clearance issues on the arch. There is plenty of room in the arch but I don't want a wheel that scrubs on hard cornering
  3. Is there such a thing as just a 340 bhp map though? All the old performance packs included an exhaust mod too. And yes the difference is massive the boost comes in earlier and the main difference you feel is a lot more torque right through the rev range.
  4. All the carbon looks good on a black car I think you've got the right colour, it would look a bit over the top on a blue car. The seibon boot looks mint too it would look good colour matched on any car and just looks a bit more of a modern style
  5. I couldn't really put a time on it I would like to have it done before the end of summer if possible so not in a great hurry and I would have to have a good think about if I'm gonna keep the car long term or change it after 3 years
  6. Has he done all the work on your engine? How many trips did you have to make to get it all done?
  7. behave yourself I'm gonna end up spending enough money already
  8. Just been on the phone to them gonna drop them an email. It would take a few visits due to running in so at least that splits the costs a bit. Cheers Kgerrie I might get a quote off them too but it's already been to the clinic and I do like those guys despite a bit of bad press they've had this week
  9. Just going off what it says on the scoobyclinic website to add rods it costs a lot more due to labour costs. I'm trying to weigh up the costs of going forged and a bigger turbo I reckon I'm probably looking at 3.5 to 4k with just the pistons if I go through scoobyclinic which is most likely where I would have it done.
  10. Nice one I was thinking about going forged myself but don't know if I can afford to do rods as well as it adds about another £2000 and I don't think I would be trying to get over 400 bhp
  11. Nice one bet it goes well. What you got forged, just pistons or rods too?
  12. Well here's the standard car and a pic someone has edited of what the coupe version for the road might look. There is a few bmw touches such as the lip on the boot lid but you can see where the image has evolved from the current wrx sti
  13. It does look a bit like the m4 but it also loos like a 2 door coupe wrx sti so I suppose the similarity with the bmw comes from the standard car
  14. Fantastic subaru must build this :)
  15. Why are you not a fan of ecutek? They do the ppp software don't they? Mines been done by scoobyclinic and I'm happy with it, I don't think there's a wrong answer here both have a good reputation.
  16. I replied in the other post too. You're looking at £550 for ecutek as it includes a £200 license fee the first time is mapped
  17. Seen a micra with chrome door handles once. That's polishing a !Removed! of the highest order.
  18. Or just release the jap models over here and sell **** loads more cars because they still go fast and do more than 20 mpg
  19. Why do subaru make good stuff then only sell it in Japan?! The s207 looks amazing let's hope they start selling them with the new motor in every market.
  20. Mine boosts at 1.49 peak and settles at around 1.3 after the remap when I put she'll fuel in. Mine was mapped on BP ultimate 97 because I don't have a shell garage anywhere near me. Scoobyclinic also changed my spark plugs to a different grade to stop getting any problems when it was mapped on 97ron fuel so this could also be an issue with yours.
  21. I'd stay away from cobb too. You just download maps for it don't you? Leave that for the yanks it's probably never been setup with uk fuels. I'd also recommend scoobyclinic especially with them being so close to you and they work on them motors day in day out so they know what to expect from it and will know if something isn't right.
  22. Should be loads of grip in these cars the only way mine starts to lose traction in second is if I'm booting it off a roundabout with. If it is spinning up in a straight line it would eventually find its grip anyway without having to come off the throttle so I'm with ghost on this one and think it could be clutch unless there is a tyre problem. check your pressures and tyre condition first and also make sure it's a decent brand tyre as you don't want any old budget crap on these and let us know how you get on
  23. Nice one Timmy £280 in carbon. Have you used them before?
  24. I like the chargespeed grill. Think I'm gonna try and get a price for it over here soon. I'm not gonna go mad with carbon though I don't think it would look as good on a blue car
