  1. I'd stay away from cobb too. You just download maps for it don't you? Leave that for the yanks it's probably never been setup with uk fuels. I'd also recommend scoobyclinic especially with them being so close to you and they work on them motors day in day out so they know what to expect from it and will know if something isn't right.
  2. Should be loads of grip in these cars the only way mine starts to lose traction in second is if I'm booting it off a roundabout with. If it is spinning up in a straight line it would eventually find its grip anyway without having to come off the throttle so I'm with ghost on this one and think it could be clutch unless there is a tyre problem. check your pressures and tyre condition first and also make sure it's a decent brand tyre as you don't want any old budget crap on these and let us know how you get on
  3. Nice one Timmy £280 in carbon. Have you used them before?
  4. I like the chargespeed grill. Think I'm gonna try and get a price for it over here soon. I'm not gonna go mad with carbon though I don't think it would look as good on a blue car
  5. What you got planned next sparky? I still need to get some funds for wheels and I was looking at the eibach handling kit but not sure if lowering it might make it worse for back roads. I want that splitter too :)
  6. My gauge records the peak do it goes up to 1.49 only for a moment then settles at about 1.2 so maybe that number is more relevant I'm not sure
  7. Mines getting 1.49 on the digital gauge but the gauge only goes to 1.5. What fuel are you using? Scoobyclinic wanted me to get the car mapped on shell but we decided to get it done on BP ultimate as it's a pain in the !Removed! getting shell round our way, but even now the car I run it with BP with a bottle of octane boost or make the trip to penrith when I can be arsed
  8. At 5200 rpm the power and torque are both almost bang on 300
  9. tidgy, his graph is misleading because the numbers on the left aren't the same for hp and torque like our graphs are
  10. That's mine with a turbo back exhaust and remap
  11. Up the top second post I think I didn't spot them at first either
  12. Nice one love that front end. The seats look great and they're a good match with the rest of the interior too.
  13. Nice to see another cumbrian in here. You've got a bit less power than me but a bit more torque.
  14. Yea I've got my lead in there now. I was at the dealer a couple of week back and forgot to mention it
  15. Mines has also done this. The port was really tight then tried to unplug my phone cable and it's all come apart and the usb has dropped indie the armrest
  16. Welcome. As you've got a 330s you're already off to a good start :)
  17. Around eight hundred Muslims have been killed in a stampede. The rest of the family escaped unharmed.
  18. Well as I set of home from night shift this morning I had an evo 10 of all cars following me out of work. He obviously wanted to play as he was right on my back bumper. There's a roundabout on my trip home that goes onto a big hill climb with 2 lanes going uphill which is often used by locals to see what speed you can get at the top. Well it was pretty much neck and neck until above 90 where my car just started to slowly open the gap. He even moved into the second lane early thinking he was gonna beat me :) don't think the outcome would have been as pleasing for me without the remap
  19. I did try to get the Sebring it was close in the end. You should try the Spa rivals in the community monthly in the lotus f1 car. I'm a 10th of a second behind a mate now and just can't beat him with a clean lap
  20. I made a few races. My old shifts meant I couldn't be on if I was on backshift or night shift I work 12 hours now so more days off and it should only stop me getting on when I'm on a Sunday night
  21. I've got to say I totally disagree with this, if you look at the point system in every motorsport championship the points always make it reward someone more for the win over second then for say getting a 5th instead of a 6th and I think this is the way it should be
  22. I should be able to make more races with my new shift pattern if we start a league so ghost can be second where he belongs :)
  23. Don't know what you've been reading Matt but aan Octavia vrs is 217bhp and around £25k a wrx sti is 295bhp and £29k so I don't think the Wrx Sti is overpriced when you look at all the other cars with similar power the price is around the same or more and the latest sti has sold well despite the engine getting a bit old now. The levorg does seem a bit pricey but it is a real nice car inside. I guess £30k doesn't get you much on the new car market nowadays
  24. If I was after something like this a soda octavia vrs estate beats it by a mile and that's a shame because the levorg is quite promising but let down by not having a good range of engines
