  1. I will follow Gambit this time as he always makes me go first.
  2. I think Subaru do lights as an after thought. On the hatch you have to take the air box system out on one side and the battery out on the other. Also leds only work one way round so it's a pain having to disconnect the battery then connect it up just to check you have the bulb the right way round.
  3. Yer thought I would look in local shop before driving out to you. They had the graber thing for £1 so worth every penny. I did it before in the mondeo but the headlights come out very easy so that was simple to fix.
  4. Done it yay. Was 30 seconds with the right tool.
  5. You mean as a replacement for your number plate? No they are not. I think using these on the road would be the same as just not having number plates on your car. That said I have seen one of the traffic cop shows where someone drove home on show plates the police stopped him and he only got a warning. The plates are the same as normal number plates just with SOC logo for use at shows.
  6. Taking the light out is a bumper off job so not that easy. Shall see what I can sort out in the morning.
  7. Thanks will it fit in the bulb hole? If so thanks would be a big help.
  8. Changing it out the bulb fell out the holder and rolled forward. Need a claw thing to get it back out.
  9. My led side lights have started to have a little rave and flash when on so need replacing today just hoping the rain stops as its a pain of a job on the hatch.
  10. You did the best job last time :-D
  11. Why did you need to get 5 more tickets? Because we needed the numbers? Also so yer @GeoffLeggy I was also a pain. Poor old Gambit, don't know how he puts up with us.
  12. You order all the tickets from the same page like a season pass thing. So the code will let you buy them all in one go.
  13. So with boots and Gambit that puts us to 11 cars already. Should be a good showing then :-D
  14. Sent you a pm.
  15. I think the sti is unequal to keep the Subaru sound but the wrx is equal. I could be wrong thought but I remember seeing a review talking about the benefits.
  16. All paid up mate.
  17. Got this one booked for me and the misses. Btw guys last chance for cheaper prices today.
  18. Asking £50 plus shipping as I paid £100 a few months ago.
  19. I don't have a standard exhaust anymore but I did. The sti and wrx exhaust are the same until after the cat so this should fit on both the sti and wrx you can swap the exhausts from wrx to sti and the other way round as well. The wrx is single exit and the sti is twin exit.
  20. Hi, There are 2 catalytic converters (cats) in the car one just after the turbo and one under the car. Removing these and replacing with pipe will take away the restriction coursed by the cats and allow the car to sound better and make more power. For best results you should get the car remapped but I felt a difference just having the second cat removed. You need one 2 pass an MOT. Removing the second one under the car will still let you pass an MOT and improve the car. The second cat is the one under the car and this is the one we remove and replace with the de-cat. If you have axel stands or drive on ramps you should be able to fit the de-cat yourself but with all mods if your not confident or dont have tools needed it could be easier to get a local garage to do it for you. To fit the decat you need to undo the bolts that hold the current cat in place and the screw in sensor. Then put the de-cat in its place and do the bolts up.
  21. Hi, Thanks @GeoffLeggy Yes I have a second de-cat for sale link here: Basically it will let out some more noise from the car and give you a performance boost. Simply unbolt your current cat and bolt this in place. I also have passed MOTs with this so no worries about emissions. Thanks Alex
  22. Listing has been updated with better photo and more accurate info.
  23. Not sure really, It cost me £100 to have made and fitted a few months ago. Would be happy to take £50 half what I paid seams fair as its used and so on.
