As has been said before long as it looks right you get left. I have an import plate with the letters a little smaller than they should be never had a problem. I also had pressed plates on my old vw with no problems. I guess it's about being sensible with it long as your not trying to trick the anpr cameras you shouldn't get to much bother.

Dose anyone with dccd use it? I thought about selling up for one with dccd but after spending money on mind I am reluctant to sell.

There very cool but expensive. I my clear light from eBay in the u.s was about £20 plus shipping then got a led for the rear fog light.

Think Gambit had a nut spec adapted for his car. Most exhaust places will be able to make us a custom center to make it fit.

Hi guys, So planning to get a remap done towards the end of the month start of next month. I want to make sure I get the most out of it as its not cheap. At the moment the car has an exedy pink box clutch, light flywheel, cosworth filter and 3 inch turbo back with sports cat. Just wondering what mods people would recommend to be done before a remap to help get the extra power out of the car its a daily driver so goals are only around the 300 mark anyway. I dont have tones of money to spend but can put some bits on the card if it saves me going back for a second remap its worth it. I have thought about a larger top mount and also a turbo upgrade but due to cost I am not sure so wondering what other options people would suggest. Thanks Xander

Interesting thing is there no way to power it from the car? So switch the car on to accessory and it warms up? Or even when the car is running warm up quicker?

I haven't done speaker upgrades since my first car (1L Polo) but will be in this car. I found any after market speakers where better than stock. That might have just been in the crappy polo but I only fitted some cheap ones and it was a big improvement.

I am tempted to get an adjustable one before my remap. As it can always been mapped in so the car expects it.

Only just ran it home with the bell mouth but it has been running fine with the sports cat and 3 inch for a few weeks. A lad local to me ran a full decat 3inch for a few months without problems. I also don't boot it that much but have felt the boost cut at times. I will be doing remap soon as I can but wouldn't say it feels like it needs one.

Exhaust is done at last. Been a long slog to get it done but now have a full 3 inch turbo back with bell mouth and 100 cel cat. Need the remap next to get the power out of it.
