Hi will a blobeye sti drivers side wing fit a non sti blobeye? Are they aluminium?

Ive read somewhere on here that there's no need to change the water pump

Don't know why, but will change battery just to rule it out, it needs changed anyway, only works when standing beside the car

Lol I know, never came across this before an I've had few jap imports before with different alarm/immobilizers without any problems. I only have one key fob, That's the next thing I'm gonna try is changing the battery in the fob, anyone know off hand what type of battery it takes?

its done it when cold and warm as I stopped at the station about half a mile from my house on way to work one morning without getting petrol but didn't lock it, came back, put key in, pressed the button and it wouldn't start, so removed key, locked then unlocked car again, key in and still not start, had to do this procedure about 4 or 5 times until it starts! I get sum looks at the forecourt lol. This is a real pain, then at home or car park at work I can start, stop, lock, start many times with no problems so it cant be the starter which I thought it mite be :S

Its happened at 5 different stations, one time I wasn't even in for petrol but was parked a few meters away from pumps. Then sometimes it starts no problem, f*****g gremlins!! Lol

Yea it standard, I read about interference etc, seems something like that, is this a boob by Subaru? is there any fix for this? Is it a big job to change the factory immobiliser to an aftermarket?

Hi folks, have my Impreza just over 3 months now and starts no problem anwhere except garages the odd time. I pull in, fill up, lock the car (1 button key fob) to go in to pay, come out and Unlock the car then try n start it and nothing happens, I have to keep locking and unlocking quite a few times again to get it to start! It been happening more often the last 2 weeks, I'm baffled, maybe its a shear coincidence it occurs at petrol stations but im scared to go near then now! Lol Anyone came across this problem?

Yea was thinking that mite be the case, seen a few on ebay with exhaust hangers been changed, not too big of a job for someone to do I guess

Welcome mate, I also have a ppp blobeye, have it about 3 months now and loving it, mine came with a atmospheric dump valve (think its a cheap 1) love the sound of it! Last weekend I got a standard bov of ebay to try it on to see how the car goes with it and I hated it, no difference in power, and i missed my whoosh! It was maybe a bit smooter through gear changes but not much. Stuck dump valve back on again the next day. If I had the spare £'s id buy a hks 1 ;-)

Just washed it and had people comment in how clean it looked

Had my Scooby about 2 months now, It came with a dumpvalve with no make, after reading all the stories good and bad about dump valved I recently bought a standard one of ebay to see the difference. Just fitted it today and hate it, no difference in power, maybe worse, and I miss my whoosh!!! Will be fitting my dump valve (whatever make it is lol) back on tomorrow

Is a remap needed after changing to a decat up pipe?

Does the ppp model have only one cat?

Hi folks, going to change the gearbox oil and rear diff oil in my 05 blobeye, Have searched and found that 75w90 goes in the diff. Is it the same oil for the gearbox? Also what brand do you guys recommend? Fully synth or semi? Cheers

Does any internals need to be changed/uprated to run a vf34 turbo? What bhp would you be looking at with them engine upgrades?

Would love to try this but feel that it would do damge to the car or is the Subaru built for this kinda stuff?

Cheers mate, just wondering now what the setup is on the ppp as regards to cats, up-pipe, downpipe compared to standard, has any of these been changed?
