  1. Yes down pipe was removed, Boost solenoid came up on google once or twice, so will check and give that a clean....... Hoping it's something quick and easy to fix!!! :D Really grateful for the help / advice
  2. No nothing, only thing changed was a new clutch fitted last Friday but the whole mass system came out??
  3. It only on hard acceleration, now you say it it's like the boost cuts out, then it cuts in again if I ease off the pedal again
  4. It happened on 1/4 tank, and still again on a full tank???Like a fuel issue not getting in quick enough or lack of air???? No leaks that I can see?? Fuel filter????
  5. Taking the Scooby for a spin and get a really hard jolt on quick acceleration is this due to dirty airfilter or a possible bad spark plug?? Airfilter is only a new one a few months back a K&N? Possible airflow?? Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance
  6. All added :D No problems adding from I-pad
  7. Hello and welcome!! Enjoy the new toy!!! :D
  8. My mate has his own garage so might be able to borrow a few tools! :D
  9. Hey I'm in Yapton, I'm happy to come and have a look for you? :D
  10. Welcome from down the road, I'm Yapton/Arundel way, we have a few meets around the area so would be good to see the new toy out and about!!!!! :D
  11. Just getting a new clutch fitted and changing the gearbox oil too, but the garage is saying his suppliers are saying EP and non-EP?? Not sure if either will matter?? The car isn't tracked or raced....
  12. Which oil is best to use for a Classic WRX STI Import V1 '94 model?? Thanks in advance
  13. SuperSpurs1 :D was Xbox 360 now over to the Xbox one
  14. Welcome and nice motor, We all have different models including turbo / non-turbo as long it's a Scooby then it's in the club!!! :D You've got some good roads to "try it out" and she how she goes!! Enjoy it!!
  15. With my side skirts and front added I can't get a jack under either, I've brought a jack that's meant for lowered cars it works for the back but not sides or front still!! (Doh) I went back to use the normal jack supplied with the car and it works best on the sides, prop up one side stick the car on a stand, back down with the jack then the same the other side!! A bit of a long winded way but works for me!! :D
  16. Welcome to the group / mad house!!!! :D Nice toy too
  17. Your'll receive a card in the post your'll need to take along to use to get the discount.
  18. Very true that man!! If your not going to do the work yourself, I would look at a new model, labour on top of the above will be a good bargain as ScoobyGhost is saying plus a few quid to tweak the new model too!! Labour will blow this way above the Turbo model.
  19. Short shifter - £15 eBay Lighter flywheel - £200-£400 eBay (cheaper ones are hit and miss) Airfilter - £45 Scooby world - no point for a mushroom one Cams £100 - £600+ depends how far and new you want from used or not. Cheaper than a new car?? If you want more power still then yes!! Need a turbo model, can't ask a non turbo to be as quick as a turbo model, it's like asking a 3wheeler to have the same handling as a Scooby!!! Lol :D
  20. I agree with above, airfilter change to K&N or similar (cheap option) then flywheel and maybe a short gear changer as well?? I had a lighter flywheel in my Escort Mk2 they make a difference, plus a short gear shift will help with acceleration as it will all be that bit quicker too. :D
  21. Thought so, I'll check my plate in a bit, haven't got a picture but I'll check it against yours when I have a look
  22. Little extras like airfilter change will help if it's all low cost your looking for? Mine made a difference by changing the air filter yes mine is STI / Turbo, but it will help on any car with air flow. :D
