  1. I take the third one (but in manual :P ). I can def see one of these in the future. Id just pull the practicality card. Id love an Impreza but the said card doesn't work there :( .
  2. Really hot curry does me.
  3. Ask Clinic to clarify what a 'full exhaust system' comprises of. Put a Cosworth or STI panel filter in and save on the £200 induction kit.
  4. Goes around so quick, we all had it last week. Worst come down ever! But you'll prob feel mint for 20mins.
  5. Yes is pretty easy :) . Would the reg be on retention or on vehicle? If on retention then you fill in the certificate you have with the cars details etc. If on vehicle then its a V317 you can print off from web or get from a decent post office. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/409911/V317_211114.pdf Once I got it back within 3 working days!! Last time was a week which is not bad at all I thought.
  6. Copy and paste the FB webpage address from the browser bar. Here, in reply to topic, click the chain type looking icon with the + sign, just under the size bar and paste the address in to the box that comes up 'URL'.
  7. As previous it really does depend on finding someone that it is specific to. The WRX part is not worth that much and its a 'standard plate' that will be limited to 2006 cars or newer. People with newer versions might not want their car to appear older. This is an example of a WRX plate open to most WRX owners for £500. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M3-0-WRX-Private-Number-Plate-On-Retention-Bmw-M3-Subaru-Impreza-Wrx-/291609459825?hash=item43e5473c71:g:894AAOSwFnFWFAtv I think unfortunately you are looking for an 06 WRX owner and a substantially reduced price to get it sold anytime soonish. The KC would need to be relevant too if you are going to get close to £2K.
  8. Stants is right, a decent dry panel filter replacement and retaining the stock feed is probably the best. I use a Ramair foam panel filter. If you fancy trying it, Ive got a used mesh Zero Sports cone filter you can try. Bought it for mine but the bolt pattern is wider on the Leggy. Should bolt straight on to your maf. Not sure on the result though but you'll get some mad induction noise. £25 delivered. Doesn't have the bracket.
  9. Welcome. Sounds like the very thing Id look for Impreza wise. First thing I would do is take a real good look over the service history. As a dealer I assume you'll get a warranty for peace of mind too :) ?
  10. Yep, cold times! My Jags just started. You should be able to localise the sound stood in front of it. I have some belt slip spray which does the job for a while.
  11. Yeah sounds like a good starting point, test the waters. Hopefully there is someone down your way who is looking.
  12. Thats really !Removed! news Sam :(. You've not had much luck with it have you! I keep my fingers crossed every morning at the moment that the slight piston slap clears up by the end of the road. Engine light has flickered on a couple of times recently too. You going to break it up or pass on as one piece? On a positive note, a gen 1 leggy sounds cool!
  13. Very sensible :) , I put all my cars on the rollers to make sure they are running as they should. Time to save up some monies!
  14. What sort of gains you looking for?
  15. Ha don't we all!
  16. Hi and welcome. Would love to see some pics if you get a chance.
  17. Summer tyres Brand - Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 Size - 225 45 17 Approx Cost - £94 FITTED each Opinions/ pros & cons you've come across, I don't buy tyres with wear rate in mind or noise, just how much grip they will give me for the price. These are about as good as Ive ever had and see a lot of people using them too. Grip in dry is outstanding, hard to unsettle them and consistent in braking phase. Still comfortable even though they might be classed as 'low profile'. Wet grip is good although I don't tend to push the boundaries in those conditions. Ive just swapped these off for Goodyear winter tyres so will give a review later after running them for a bit.
  18. Nice one, sounds like a really good result. Now you have to decide on tyres?
  19. I was planning to put an odd set on, different backs and fronts but couldnt bring myself to do it. I managed to find a pair of wheels that are almost identical to whats on it. They are now my winter fronts and the rears I just had tryes swapped over. I use Event Tyres to do all mine, new or swapping, they come to house or work. It takes all the hassle out of it and they charge £20 per wheel if your swapping.
  20. Same as, I can never see an end point but we love it! Be boring otherwise and what would we spend our money on.
  21. Wow is all I can say about the Saxo lol! Good runner round though. Suppose its good timing with the best driving days of the year behind us.
  22. Really good value! Fingers crossed, let us know.
  23. Should also say I used that specific brand so cant comment on all the other dozens of variants.
