  1. Im drawing the line at 3 hours which covers most things for me luckily.
  2. 5W/40 Mobil and genuine filter. 5W/40 seems to be most popular that Ive seen personally but brands do vary widely.
  3. Ill add it to the growing list :D
  4. Hi there! Very nice motor, big spoilers for the win
  5. Made most of mild weather and washed it. Gave the maf a good clean with some maf cleaner (funnily enough). Pulled the ICV again and gave it a better clean.
  6. Hi! Looking forward to seeing what happens to the Leggy.
  7. Who are ICP? I might give them a call see if they can supply one for me. I think a new one might be the only way forward.
  8. Jumper arrived! Well happy cheers :D and just in time for xmas jumper day at work this week.
  9. Is this what a 48k service includes? Is there anything missing? Replace engine oil per specifications for your model Replace filter with Genuine Subaru Oil Filter Replace oil drain gasket Check and top off all fluids Inspect and set tire pressures Complete Multi-point inspection
  10. I would be interested to know what work was included for the £500.
  11. Had a little wipe over under the bonnet if no where else Caution, gratifying engine bay picture....
  12. Cheers, I am enjoying it too! Just a nice little bit of difference :)
  13. Its Christmas!!!! It actually went in the boot but......lol. Dirty dirty too
  14. Ill be there :D. I need to mark all the events up now so there's no argument later.
  15. Moved mine out of the garge onto the drive!
  16. http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/26032.html The link may be useful. Most people will say an oiled filter is not a good idea due to the potential to fudge the maf and in turn your engine. Some people have used them for years with no issue so..... Theres no performance benefit Ive ever seen for an oiled cotton filter e.g. K&N over a dry filter e.g. Cosworth, STI, Ramair etc, so for me its a no brainer.
  17. Like marty said the GTI's aren't slack and could easily be running 250BHP and when rolling won't loose as much through the trans. Its easy to hold the gear too long as well. A good thrash on the RR will soon tell you :D
  18. Maybe timing but shoppers for this car are very specific as you know yourself. You might just have to wait a bit. Its low miles and looks great so you should get £4K without too much problem. Im jealous of the buyer already :(
  19. Always sad to see someone parting with a nice motor. What sort of monies are you looking for?
  20. Hiya! Nice and clean, like it in white. Not cheap to insure I bet!
  21. Not sure, possibly, the missus wants a massive one Anyway Im just looking for an excuse to use the roof bars I have :D
  22. Id like to know on this too. I need to speak to them.
  23. Ah right. Well thats sort of good news then :) Im on my third maf. Keep 2 spare just in case now. Not new ones mind you but original good order.
  24. Looks like... Terminals 1, 2 and 4 should have approximately 1 mega-ohm of resistance to ground. Terminal 3 should have zero ohms resistance to ground. See what you get.
