You are quiet correct. Generally speaking smaller cars and engines get more wear and tear.

From my first car the engines went as follows. 1.8 petrol,. 1.7 diesel, 2.0 petrol. I drove smaller engine cars like 1.3 petrol but that's mechanics. I would never own one myself.

You don't need to be mechanic or a genius to have common sense. It sounds like that guy is not a genius and has no common sense. I would even question if he is a mechanic.

I presume that's in town driving. Out of 04 gx I can squeeze just over 32mpg on single roads and just over 35-38mpg on duals/motorways.

This might be the case after blobs. I'm not sure. But on blob it is definitely 17" that's what the factory sticker says.

Sti wheels are 17" and those you have if I'm not mistaken are the ones that come on sti blobs. I would have to check on mine.
