Like I thought its a turbo boost controller. meaning it bypasses ecu control it is not original part of manufacturing it has been added later. As it stands it could be set up wrongly that could be your issue.
Service intervals are not same. I know I got both turbo and n/a. Fuel .economy is not same. Insurance is not same. Only thing thats same is road tax period.
Thats quiet a decent price m8. Yeah I would just skim flywheel. For normal every day road use use standard clutch wouldnt bother with anything else. Exedy is a good choice had one put into my forester.
