I replaced the pump, then 18 months later the light came back on so I took it back to the garage. They said there was nothing wrong with the pump. After loads of messing around I got it mapped out. I left everything as it was under the bonnet because I wanted to leave the car standard. Touch wood everything's been great since

Have you checked your power steering hoses, mine had gone hard causing the pump to suck in air giving a whining noise. Are you getting any judder on the steering at slow speed? And have you checked your fluid?

I've left my car standard, although I was thinking of putting a prodrive back box on. Do you get any problems with the engine management light when you change them?

Today whilst going shopping a young kid said to me your to old to have one of those, I'm 49 by the way. It got me thinking am I to old. Just wondering ages of other wrx owners

I'd also check that the stereos up loud enough, sometimes when the volumes down you can hear loads of different noises that seem to disappear when it's on louder.

I had the same problem,I changed the pump and 18 months later the light came back on, I took the car back to where it was fitted and they checked the pump over and said the pump was OK. So I got it mapped out £60 .I didn't take out the old pump or any pipe work so if you look under the bonnet it still looks standard

Anyone know where I can get the clips to hold the door car on on a 2007 wrx and what they look like. Thanks inadvance
