  1. Got it sorted, was 4 stock 3 on my aftermarket, hasn't stopped the rattle on idle very much but at least I know it's not going to fall off, few extra bits done recently like fog covers and Stuke canards, will upload from PC as tapatalk doesn't allow, will be down at japfest this Sunday also Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. £2500 is what ive got him down to http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/subaru-impreza-sti-wrx-rally-spec/1066632123#photo-content with quick shift gearbox, uprated injectors, induction kit and a brand new rad, lower and very firm suspension, straight through exhaust. any advice is appreciated 130k on clock 11 mot 4 tax
  3. Well, i messaged the guy, turns out he let it go for, wait for it... 850!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuming! id have pulled it back with ropes to get it for 850! back to the drawing board! seen a Prodrive knocking about 005/025 so i'll have a bash at that
  4. what do you think of the price? 1250? im happy to pay that for a limited edition but if you think its a bit steep id sway lower, lot of people wanting 2.5 for standard turbo classics these days
  5. I bought a dog of a sport last march, now compared to my 1.0L corsa, fast as chuff, but then i went for a blast in a 310bhp PPP classic and i died inside, Biggest tip from me, if you go N/A you will always regret not going turbo, if you go turbo, you'll go broke. At the end of the day if some little prick in a 1.6 gsi corsa with some bike carbs out drags you when youre in your STi rep, you may aswell take the bus, plus, from general experience people tend to buy cheap N/A's and think they are full on WRC material resulting in a lot of ragged N/A imprezas
  6. I'll get her to sign up, shes gone whole hog with the subaru fangirl thing, got the colin mcrae jacket and the sponsored fleeces the lot haha, its only a Sport model xD Anyway guys i was trolling the internet at work because you know, got to kill time some how, and i came across this in carandclassic, ive decided that my next impreza has to be one of the limited editions, or an RA, preferably a 555 because im a massive mcrae fanboy but anyway here it is, bit of a shed but for a next project car what do you guys think? V limited 280hp 96 impreza 0997/1000.. I'll say it now, probably needs hella work! Not like i haven turned a scooby round before ;D http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C466861
  7. No she was poking around in a crappy 1.2 clio and ive got 3 younger siblings, may aswell drop them off at school on something impressionable eh?
  8. from then i have firmly tiger sealed the spoiler down, tidied the whole car up and sprayed the alloys matte black ttps://imageshack.com/i/3u3fvkj] thats the final result, thrown in some seat belt covers, a service and some new coil packs, subaru dust caps and a clean, and that was my xmas present to my Mum for 2013 :) you may have seen a guy posting earlier regarding someone who wanted to swap a seat FR for a turbo scooby, that was me, i shamefully own a spanish go go car but im looking to get back into a scooby, ideally a pick up from back in the day! i have found 2 really good condition standard UK turbo's and would appreciate any help, they are both wanting a little cash in exchange as well as my car but are looking rather clean
  9. ahoy there gentleman! and so we reach the end of my Subaru Saga sadly! this are a few pics of it a few weeks ago
  10. any pics? and you got all the screws for it? i lost all mine
  11. Right well i recieved the bonnet and grill however he didnt send the big scopp and now i cant get hold of him which is unfortunate, regardless ive got the other two to spray and the grill is a bit tatty but i can make it work, would a facelift big scoop fit a prefacelift scoop hole?
  12. From my experience, anything to do with CV, shocks, bearings, all things that may have been hammered from !Removed! heads ragging it through a field basically, play with the steering and make sure it doesnt wobble of its own accord or youve got a blown shock(s) on your hands
  13. Exactly what i need, i just need the actual plugs, the ebay ones dont separate at the top
  14. Ive only spoken to a few of you on here but i just prefer the whole layout, the appearance, its a lot more professional, this, i would, and most likely will pay for if you have that here. I joined one for my corsa and its just people trying to tell you how to have your own car and being snide as chuff, problem is when theyre all admin im the one that ends up getting banned, especially annoying when im trying to buy parts off people, anyway, back on topic!
