Been offered this ecu today, it's out of a v3 ra so I know it's mapped for 100ron but I'm guessing mine is anyway being an import. So should I stay away and keep my money or is it worth a punt to pop in my car and risk some serious worry and possible melt down both financially and mentally ?

What turbo and injectors did the ra have ?

I was only clutching at straws really, you know when Someone goes ah I've got this and all kinds of possibilities were going through my head, mainly involving loads of det and tears and money vs some more boost haha. Think I'll try and get my hands on a spare 4w ecu send it to esl then save up for a map

I know mocom charge 409 to remap mine

Or they supply the software for 249

I've not spoken to Duncan yet but it was around 600 for the board and map. Sadly I just don't have the funds to get it all done at once at the moment. The misses has other ideas as to where the money should be going

Not sure if mine will work with your, is it a UK ecu ? I know some people on scabby net have said they won't work without keys etc.

Looks good bit of kit though just Been on website, shame though looks like esl is the only way. It's gonna cost an extra 75 quid if I want an odb1 cable [emoji35]

Yeah thought about that but the ones on ebay are going for silly money. If I can send my ecu off to esl they'll install and flash any base map on I want, the foz prodrive one seems to be popular but I think that uses vf turbo so I'm trying to find out what's the closest UK map with 380cc injectors and Td04 that would suit the car until a live map can be done, failing that I may just get the credit card out and say !Removed! it !

An impreza ecu will plug in and start it up Andy car told me the other week that's on a UK car though don't no about import.

Depends what ecu , you can swap the crank sensor wires over jdm - uk will work

Andy only told me about impreza my99-00 on 99-00 foresters lol

Not worth buying a ecutek ecu anyway unless it's dirt cheap
