Gambit
I'm really not sure but I like to think it's from the rally heritage of the car. But I think it's just how packs of wolves bond it works :)
Dogconker
Well as I said on other post, top gear said Evo was the better track car and not great on the road but the STi beat the Evo around the test track. So that begs the question which, actually is the better track car? Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Gambit
I never said it was the better track car I just said it would be great as a track car ;) After driving a scoob on track and destroying and I mean destroying all four tyres, the subaru is just as much fun :)
Dogconker
No I was saying top gear said it was the better track car, but it wasn't better around a track. I think it just felt better but clearly not as fast. A friend of mine who was into semi professional racing said "it doesn't matter what car you drive, any car taken to its limit is fun on a track". Proven by the fact my brother used to race a Morris Oxford on sprints and had as much fun as me in a fully modded Opel manta [emoji38] Mind you this was the guy that bought me a bumper sticker for my birthday that read "You can sleep in your car, but you can't race your house" Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Gambit
I'd agree any car is fun I'd say RWD would be more fun than FWD but if I had the money I'd be happy to have a car for track fun :)
quit
my close friend has a STi6 and had a evo 4 and a 5 before.... Said the evo was roar and harsh but pretty quick... he had a sti7 years ago Liked the evo for track days but parts were ££££ he much prefers the scoob over the evo Evos hold money better as they have always been that just bit pricier from day one and soon as scoobs fell to a low that young lads could have something like that the value plumets
