last year I did 4 dyno sessions in 2 different scoobs [emoji5] even if I've not had anything fitted I like it to go on rollers to make sure she's running rite at some point every year anyways .£ 500 f

  • I have no idea Yet lol

  • It will work i know people have done it and work fine more power then the td04. if you are remapping it bigger injector will be required to compensate for more air forced into the engine

So you was running factory turbo pressure. Is that 0.9 bar

So your at 1.2 bar and that is factory .That must be making some power then lol.  Im on 215bhp on std boost 0.7bar.

thats just the set up of a SP unit! there are a few standard Y7 ecus for v5-6 which have different map settings one has a more aggressive map than the others

I have a Y7 ecu as well sat in a box lol.I might have it flashed  now lol but saying that im making the same figure as the uk 2000 model with out the boost

if its a Ae8000 thats the more aggressive one i think

Oh im gonna look at mine now.Ive just phoned a company who is down the road and he reckons he may be able to flash it

That might be it mate , I can't remember the exact code but quick Google will tell you

I will google this now Matt.Is yours a W reg and are you yourself on a Y7 ecu

Mines a v , I got a sp ecu

Tho I got a y7 somewhere as a back up

I have no idea

Yet lol

I guess if it fails, your engine is going to notice it first xD

I thought id better update this thread.Ive removed my Td04  to fit my Td05 and the water pipes and the banjo bolts are larger on the Td05 so the Td04 water pipes wont fit.Luckily ive a mate with a brand new set of Td05-06 pipes so there getting dropped off tonight.

Not heard of that issue !

Neither had I till I compared them both.Just thought I share the information for anyone in the future doing this conversion

As you can see the exhaust on the Td05 is huge compared to the Td04

If the water pipe hits can't u just notch a few mm out the housing ?

The bolt holes are bigger on the td05.I will stick a picture up in a moment

Hi dos anyone no if you do a engine transplant if a need to change anything apart from ovs stuff thanks
