Hi, im new to the forum as im trying to get myself in my first Subaru. Im on the hunt for a 2003-2006 (i think) Pre facelift SG, although i would consider a facelift.

Looking for under 100,000 miles ideally but ill take a look at anything.

Im not sure what the rules are with posting Wanted threads in the for sale section so if there is a problem then can someone please let me know (and feel free to tell me off)

Thanks alot

Hi,

I have one for sale. 2005 XTE in black with beige leather interior. It's on 109,000 miles, just had the cam belt done for the second time. Full subaru / specialist service history, no expense spared etc. etc. I had it chipped after the cambelt was done, but only to make it run smoothly like when new, which it does (~237BHP indicated, but those rolling road figures should be taken with a pinch of salt). I've also replaced the rear diff unnecessarily (turned out to be a wheel bearing). Mechanically it is very good. No rust, no crashes. It's missing the rear head rests as that is how I bought it. I replaced the HID ballast on the near side head lamp, but resealed the head lamp unit when it was humid, so it's a bit misty on that side. Also I don't think the headlamp washers or fog lamps work. Drivers side heated seat doesn't work.

It says it is the XTE, but has heated seats, full leather and the DVD navigation system in the dash mounted pod, plus single CD changer (so two double DIN units in all, plus the glove box DVD). I've done 30k in the car over the last two years and I've kept it in in top condition as I use it for commuting all over the place for work, so only long motorway journeys for what it's worth. I'm only selling it as we need something bigger for out recently enlarged family.

It had a service 30 miles ago and an MOT in January.

I'm in Oxfordshire, asking £4k, no offers.

I'll place a for sale ad in the next couple of days.
