AlbertoFernandes Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Hello... Can I have your opinion about hybridize a turbo TD04L, for an Impreza GT98... By information of the garage that does that kind of service, they extract more 15 BHP... This modification, and a new exausht with a prodrive pan, do you think is a good way to improve boost on the first gears??? Thanks
Ash007ks Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 TD05 its cheaper, and gives way more power than the hybrid, they run out off puff mid range and so are not cost effective. 1

stants Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Yes, although others have swapped and run with minimal issues without map
stants Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 a td05 is a larger turbo so will give even less low end than an 04
AlbertoFernandes Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 a td05 is a larger turbo so will give even less low end than an 04 stants, with the td05 I will lose more in low??? In the other topic you advise me to see the ECU or esl board in Www.enduringsolutions.co.uk. It is a litle dificult for me to find the right one for my impreza 98. Is it much to ask you,to find me the right one?? Whwn you need some favor in Portugal, i return the favor... Thanks a lot...
stants Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Yes you'll loose more low range but it will give more top end power http://www.enduringsolutions.com/shop/ You need the 97/98 board the bottom one of the two. 1
