lol, fuel economy never really bothers me , everyone says no oh the fuel economy must be crap 

 

yeah i dont care, if i wanted good fuel economy i wouldnt own this car

Me and you both Matt, why by a car like this and not use it for what it was built for ;-)

This one did surprise me, I was low on fuel at the time and was a mixed route of A, B and motorway for the 30 miles.

how did you manage that? was it idling on the back of a wagon? hahahahaha

So was mainly just shifting to next gear at earliest possible time without putting any undue stress on engine, so usually about 2200-2500 rpm, and gradual acceleration rather than foot down and go ;-)

Most i have managed is 33, that was just strolling down the motor way. 

worst has been 20mpg over most of a tank :') 

Best I got was 32.3 driving completely like a grandad  :)

I once saw 37 after starting the car at the top of a hill then rolling to the bottom :) I usually get 21
