I was thinking about black alloys and black spoiler but then other people have said no keep it original , but it's not really doing much for me

It's your car so you have to have it the way you like lol black alloys and spolier would stand out

I would go for subtle changes then have a look at grills maybe some change to the fog surrounds could always go for painted alloys rear spoiler if it's not got one I can't remember off the top of my head :)

But just remember once you start it never stops :D

Lol looks like we are all on the same page with ideas then :D

Very true , haven't seen many hatch models to get inspiration from , would like to get car already for japfest next year , so have a lot to get done lol

My legacy is met blue with met grey wheels and people seem to comment on them as they look a little different. I'm going to put a carbon fibre grille in and under the bonnet with black/ grey samco hoses so it's not in your face but looks good

Yeah totally,my cars old so After a full service I'm going to clean up the engine bay new hoses maybe a tiny bit of colour but nothing goldie looking chain ! I've got green exhaust wrap which looks pretty cool, had to loose the tin ware as it was rusty

The only styling bits I've seen have around the UK have been grills, front lips and different exhausts. There are also a cple of options for the rear lights like swapping the rear red fog for a clear one so the rear matches.

Apart from wheels, lowering the ride height, front lips and lights there's not much stuff for the hatch in the UK, you'd have to look at the US, Oz or Japan to get aftermarket styling bits.

my little brother lives in Oz so if anybody wants parts sending over, depending on size, i might be able to get them shipped over as gifts from him to avoid the import duties

Thanks everyone will have a look though those sites later , not too familiar with subarus yet so still reading up

Wotcha and welcome - IMO standard original for the most part is manufacturers compromising so I tend to put my own mark on each model I own - the research I have done has led me more to the Japanese kits as they appear a little more subtle than the US ones...

problem is I have a huge shopping list and am just awaiting the funds

Welcome Becky,

I do like the Blue Mica but agree with the fact the standard WRX doesn't stand out enough.

I think little things like the wheels and grill will change it for the better. One of the reasons I chose the WRX S over the standard WRX

Spoiler - Top end of market but carbon fibre and integral LED brake light - its a simple remove / installation, few nuts and retaining clips

something a little less subtle
